Staying at a hotel nearby and attended the 9AM Sunday service where the boys choir sings. The coolest part was the greeter told us to go all the way to the front and sit up beside the altar (right behind the row the choir sits in). We never would have known to do that and it was really a cool... More

We had the fortune of attending Christmas Eve and it was a great service aimed at the Kids. The priest did a wonderful job engaging the kids in the Christmas message. Beautiful and massive church well worth attending a service here.

Attended for worship whilst on holiday. A beautiful place to worship. The clergy and locals are welcoming but keep their distance which seems right. The service was lovely and the music was glorious. A few English accents which made us feel at home.

Spectacular building, rivals any in Europe for grandeur. Offers high church, traditional service. Not to be missed if you are sightseeing near Rockefeller Plaza area. Doors are almost always open during the daytime. A calm place to rest as well on a hot or cold day. St. Pat's gets the crowds, but this is the one to see !

I have been attending church at St. Thomas on my annual trips to New York for 30 years, so I know this church. In contrast to St. Patrick's Cathedral (which is right down the street), those who care for St. Thomas have been very careful that their church not turn into a tourist trap. Visitors are welcome, but they maintain... More

My wife and I saw this church while walking down the street and had to check it out. It is beautiful and amazing. I could describe it but it would never do it justice. if you are in NYC, you will want to check this out.

We saw this as we were walking down towards the Cathedral (see review) and had to have a look inside if the outside was anything to go by - which as one can see is an architectural gem. The inside is as wonderful - no pictures as there were worshippers and did not want to disrespect at that time -... More

Just walking down the street decided to take a look and it was incredible! Very glad we stopped in and looked around as the wood carvings were very surreal. Just couldn't believe the detail and the craftsmanship. Very cool site to see.

Honestly, I didn't have this on my travel plan and didn't realize this church's existence until I walked by the beautiful doorway. Being a fan of church architecture, I was curious about this impressive church. After walking into the building, I was glad that I did not miss the beauty within. Because this is not even listed as a tourist... More

I enjoyed the tall pointed arches which gave this church a Gothic magnificence. If you happen to be shopping on 5th Avenue this is a great place to take a break...go from the material to the spiritual..
