this neighborhood is one of the most colorful reach atmosphere sections of the city. Great to walk in the streets and look at the little stores in this very unique atmosphere among people Well as merchants.. They all serve you with a smile. Just to walk from New York city University with its nice garden and campus and a student's... More

This is a real neighborhood with people that actually live in NYC. A great place for dining, bars and people watching. One of my favorite restaurants in the city.

I did a lot of research ahead of my trip to NYC and this is the place everyone said to go if you want to have a more authentic NYC experience and its true. It's the classic tree lined street scene you see on tv shows and in movies with a tonne of boutiques, antique shop, art galleries, coffee shops,... More

Really nice side of town. Food is awesome, night-life is great and people are friendly. A little bit less hustle and bustle then downtown

We visited Greenwich Village the very next day we arrived in NYC. This charming, fascinating, old locality is tucked in the magnificent vertical wonders of NYC. We walked up & down the streets to get a feel of old NYC - we combined visiting this side of the city with a quick look at the F.R.I.E.N.D.S apartment & the High... More

This part of NYC has been somehow closer to Europe than other parts. Huge number of bars, pubs, restaurants and small shops and with very relaxing atmosphere. You can check the food first and you can select from European, Asian or American options. Once you do that , you are ready to hike the bars having couple of beers.

Interesting place, very relaxing. Different from Midtown, in the best possible way, and you get away from some of the hustle and bustle.

Love the village, went to NYU and lived there for a few years, so great to go back for the memories. Lovely even without memories!

situated near NYU, there are many college students roaming around. a nice high-dollar area to troll around in. good for pictures, and places to sit and people watch. i felt safe here, with no incidents. i would recommend traveling here, but not staying for very long. quick trip, and you have it.
