My wife and I were exploring the city during our honeymoon stay and we got lost due to bogus directions. To this day we both don't know how we ended up in Greenwich Village, but we're glad we did. It's a cool, quiet and relaxing little village with plenty to see. If you want to do some shopping, there are... More

One of the spots I liked more in New York, must be a nice place to live in, while being close to the chaotic city center. Plenty of cafés and restaurants More

The village is nice, quiet & residential. Nice renovations on Barrow St. The condos used to be a truck depot in the 1970's. Hope they renovate Hotel Keller @ 150 Barrow. Nice property just nreeds renovation. Waterfront is nice. More

There are new shops and restaurants opening constantly. The hunt is so much fun as the discovery always uncovers some gem of a store. More

This is the place you should go if you want to see real hometown New York. The brownstones and shops are delightful and the area still hosts lots of cafes. More

Greenwich Village is a world unto itself. From the shops to the restaurants to the nightlife, there's something for everyone and never a lack of things to do! Any visit to NYC must include time here! For the "safer" amusements, just wander down 7th Avenue. Start at the site of the old St. Vincent's Hospital, on 7th between 11th and... More

There are so many wonderful places to visit. This time we stayed around Bleeker Street. If you go, visit Bleeker Street Pizza for the best ever thin crust pizza. Molly's Cupcakes provided a delicious cupcake for dessert. Rocco's Bakery is just an endless source of Italian pastries, breads, etc. Try the Lulus! Murray's Cheese is a wonderful assault on the...
