Rick was a very relaxed and accomodating guide and our driver was brilliant at traversing very narrow streets. Great mix of food and especially enjoyed the Cuban Sandwich at Sunset Park on a glorious day. There was another guide on tour I think as she helped at times especially with photos. The view of Brooklyn Bridge was worth the admission... More

Our guide was Rick, he was amazing! He told things what you can not reat from books. Brooklyn changes very fast nowadays, so it's good time to go and see "old" Brooklyn. Food was very goo also. Go with empty stomack :)

I came across a Taste of Brooklyn tour using viator and thought it would be fun to see some of the Brooklyn sights since I was staying in the Bedford Stuyvesant area for the first time, and being a foodie I wanted to know where the hidden pockets were. After I booked my ticket, I was immediately contacted by a... More

We had such an incredible time on the Tour of Brooklyn with Isaac and his side kick James! We ate incredible food, learned so much history and culture and made new friends while on the tour. Isaac took the time to personalize our tour and really catered to us. We loved our tour so much we booked another private tour... More

Me and my wife went on the tour with Laurie. The best tour I've been on in a long time, Laurie was amazing, she knows everything about New York, Its nice when a tour guide is able to give you some insight on the history of almost each and every high rise in the city. By the way being in... More

If you just have time to take ONE tour you can do no better than NY Fun Tours. Of course, there's the delicious food which are served at tables in restaurants (other lesser kinds of tours out there have you standing on the sidewalk). After a while it feels like you are with a happy family, the experience is priceless.... More

My husband and I really enjoyed the Best of Brooklyn tour. From the knish to the cannoli, we had a wonderful time eating our way through Brooklyn. I'm a chocoholic, so the highlight was the trip to the Jacque Torres Chocolate Shop for a decadent treat. There were only four in our party and our new-found friends ordered a round... More

we did five tours during our time in NYC. This was BY FAR the best one. Isaac was so personable and knew so many interesting things about his city. His love of Brooklyn was evident. Food was amazing. So well thought out and executed. Thank you. Couldn't recommend this more!

Even though it was a very rainy day, Laurie, our guide and driver, Alfred were amazing at giving us the BEST tour ever. We were a very small group of 4. This allowed for Laurie to give us special attention and share her outstanding knowledge of the area. Loved all the eateries we visited, from Polish sausage to "to die... More

Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
