Great tour with Isaac who not only served as guide but also drove our very comfy Mercedes vehicle from Greenwich Village to Williamsburg, Brooklyn Heights, Carroll Gardens, Dumbo and back. We were a small group of 7 who met at Cornelia Street Cafe, then headed out for a most informative drive through various neighborhoods, stopping for food tastings along the... More

One of the best city tours ever - - good for both foodies and non-foodies. We saw and tasted so many things in Brooklyn several neighborhoods - - also saw some of Manhattan (West Village and East Village). For tastes of food, we went to Russ and Daughters deli (wonderful rugelach), had lunch at a Polish restaurant, later on a... More

Really well organized, informative throughout, and a great way to explore different neighborhoods and cultures. And of course the food is amazing. We will be putting friends and family on this tour when they come to visit. Thanks to Laurie for her excellent guidance and knowledge.

An excellent overview of Booklyn and the diverse neighborhood. Driving through all the different nationalities with food tastings at 5 different places . We had Polish, which we liked the best, Jewish, Italian and others. Learnt a lot about the different cultures. Great way to spend an afternoon.

My husband and I have been to New York several times but wanted to visit Brooklyn. We met Isaac at The Cornelia Street Cafe, Greenwich Village. Isaac was informative and constantly entertained us with his stories and passion about Brooklyn today, its residents and of course its history. The food on the tour was unbelievable starting at a Jewish deli,... More

I have done all the walking tours of Manhattan so it was time to explore Brooklyn. We started in the Bowery of Manhattan which I enjoyed. I had the best polish meal of my life in Brooklyn. We visited a Cuban restaurant and a chocolate factory. You could walk across the Brooklyn Bridge at the end of the tour if... More

My granddaughter, who loves the cooking shows on TV, was the one who wanted to go on a food tour while we were in New York. I didn't know what to expect but I was absolutely delighted with the experience. We could have spent a week in Brooklyn and not discovered all the culinary, cultural and artistic spots we visited... It was a great and tasty experience around Brooklyn and surrounding areas. The tour guide was very knowledgeable of the area and it wasn't just food that he introduced us to. There was some Art, history, food and of course wine if you wanted! :)

We went on the Brooklyn Food and Culture trip as part of our recent holiday in New York. We wanted to do something a little different from the normal tourist trail, and this was fantastic! Our tour guide drove us over to Brooklyn in a 12 seater bus, all air conditioned and comfy, and showed us lots of interesting places,... More

I recently took the Brooklyn food tour with my mother, who grew up in New Jersey but hadn't been to Brooklyn in 50 years, my sister-in-law, and my teenage daughter, who is an aspiring chef and confirmed foodie and Food Network junkie. We were hoping to experience some of the area's culinary highlights, and the tour did not disappoint in... More
