Terrific, moving and very deep production of Grounded with Anne Hathaway just recently extended until May 24th, you will definitely not be disappointed with her solo performance in this very small venue, only sits around 250 give or take in a u shape. Tickets are reasonably priced and can take advantage of $20 rush tickets 2 hours prior to performance... More

Bravo! Anne Hathaway was superb in her role (solo) in Grounded at Anspacher Theater. Limited engagement April 7 to May 24, 2015. Small theater so you get to watch her up close! What a superb star! 75-minute play and it felt less! You can meet and greet or even done for a different level fee.

Went for Lunch yesterday before seeing Anne Hathaway in Grounded, we arrived early enough, but really the prices for the standard of the food was madness, we started with Mimosa's @$15 each glass, nothing to rave about, my friend had pancakes with berries, and I had tiny toasts with cheese and pickled strawberries, (super small serving) still starving I had... A most unusual play with excellent acting. A surprising excellent play that is definitely worth seeing. Should be a hit

I recently discovered The Public Theater when I went to see Hamilton. I am so happy I purchased a membership. The theater is convenient to the subway and consists of several small theaters. While I love going to Broadway shows, it was so nice to take in a show without all the hubbub of Times Square. I am looking forward... More

I was so excited to see this show since I experienced the People's Revolution in 1986 and I am a fan of Ninoy Aquino and have read extensively about the Marcos regime. So I was disappointed with this show since it was not a good representation of what really happened. To put a love story between Imelda and Ninoy is... More

We've been subscribers to the Public for many years (we live in NYC), and have had many memorable experiences. People who like theatre should put this on their list when planning a trip. there are usually several different productions going on at the same time. There may be something that interests you. Last night, we saw "Hamilton," a musical biography... More

My favorite show. Period. The story of Imelda Marcos and the people power movement of the Philippines. Go watch it before it closes. Amazing music. Phenomenal cast. Beautiful costumes. And moving stages (literally and figuratively). I laughed. I cried. I wanted more. (So I came back 5 more times!!)

My favorite off bradway musical this year. The production is exceptional This is a musical and a live audience participation The music and lyrics are memorable. Wear comfortable shoes... You will be dancing and you will be part of the perfromance. They also use some live videotaping and screen projections that help tell a story of an Asian Evita.
