After a night on the town, we went here for a drink to wind down the night. I may have had more fun here than anywhere else. First, we walked in to a very laid back crowd just hanging out listening to The Cure. No sooner did we get our beers when The Legend of Zelda theme began and a... More

Visited on veterans day 2013 as a starter bar for a friend's birthday night out & i have to say we loved it! If you like shots & a bit silly theatrics then ask the bartender for one of their speciality shots - you will not be let down!

We went here to start out our night on Friday August 16, 2013. First this place has all the makings of a great bar. It has themed shots that come with fire, music, and other theatrics. Unfortunately our bartenders were sour performed the feats with absolutely no enthusiasm and basically ignored us to serve male patrons (something I have never... More

This bar was a great start to a night out. There were a wide array of fun and geeky shots with mystery ingredients, some of which included music and/or costumes. The bartender was incredibly friendly and fun spirited, and had no problem chatting with us was we decided on our drinks. It's a small bar, but if everyone is sitting... More

We wondered into this little bar looking for a place to have a couple of pre-dinner drinks. It fit our vibe for a low-key spot. Though intrigued by the many shots listed on the chalkboards and the various props behind the bar, we didn't quite understand until the group next to us ordered the Full Metal Jacket shot. Then we... This place has wild bar tenders. The service is fun and they put on a show. The overall ambiance is laid back and the crowd is surprisingly diverse. They have way too many shots to count. I stuck with beer and mixed drinks. Worth checking out if you are in the neighborhood. The Harry Potter shot is the most fun.

Barcelona Bar is a crack in the wall, blink twice and you will miss it so be sure not to blink because its an adventure that you don't want to miss out on. The hilarious bartender looks like Jack Black and is as comedic, which makes ordering shots from him great fun. Try the shots with either the flame or... More

It's a hole in the wall, but the bartender was friendly and talkative. We stopped in between showings of Dave Letterman, late afternoon. Decent prices on drinks, more similar pricing to what we find at home rather than in the heart of NYC. Bet it's a happening place in the evenings!
