In May 2015, I took a Tour of Little Italy in New York City. Our tour guide Alana made it a most informative and tasty, morning experience. I loved the historical explanations about each establishment we visited as well as the many, small samples of Italian cuisine. Wear walking shoes and be ready to get a tiny glimpse of Italy... More

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Alana, our tour guide, was very knowledgable about the area, and taught us about its history with passion and enthusiasm, not to mention introducing us to the best of the best of food in each area. In addition she provided us with suggestions of the best restaurants that emphasize the quality of food and books... More

I was in NYC with a group for a long weekend and one of the options for things to do on Saturday morning was a tour of Little Italy. This seemed to me an excellent idea and signed on. From beginning to end I was amazed with Alana's knowledge and presentation. She was very professional and held the group's interest... More

I loved it! The Italian places were great and we had dinner at the recommended Da Nico restaurant the next day, excellent. The Chinatown experience was wounderful, I would never go to these places if it was not for this Tour. Great history stories, great guide who is very updated and shared her personal experience. Perfect group size of twelve... More

This was simply fantastic. We started out eating our way through Little Italy then we crossed the street to China town. I'm not a fan of Chinese food however my favorite was dumpling at the Tasty Dumpling. It was so good and savory. The vinegar sauce was delightful too. The history that was shared throughout the tour was amazing and... More

One of the highlights of our trip to New York: wishing we could go back and spend a week eating at all the recommended restaurants and another week using all the ingredients from the Little Italy businesses

We did this tour with our 12 yr. old Grandaughter. All three of us had a wonderful time. Food was delicious and the history of the areas was presented in a fun, informative way.

Having grown up in NYC I thought I knew it all. Wow! I had no idea of the history of certain places that I've been walking by all my life. This tasty tour was not only delicious but very informative too. Our guide, Liz, made it fun for everyone. She was a wonderful hostess making sure that each person was... More
