Four of us went to Ferraras to begin our walking tour of Little Italy & China Town. Four other people were part of the tour. The guide was Alanna. From the beginning she was friendly and very knowledgeable. We went to four locations in Little Italy and enjoyed tasty food at each one. Two more locations in China Town with... More

This was an awesome tour. Alana was the best. She was Informative, energetic and super friendly. Alana made us feel more like guess in her home, than customers. We had Cannolis (yum!), Prosciutto and homemade mozzarella (fresh is better), fresh pasta, some awesome imported cheeses (I now have a new favorite called Piave), dumplings, Chinese pastry and the best Dim... I was on a great three hour food tour of Chinatown and Little Italy by Ahoy New York Food Tours. Our tour guide Alana had great stories to tell and was very knowledgable. She gave us a handout which not only had details of the tastings we had on the tour but also recommendations on shops, restaurants and books! We... More

My wife and I were taken on wonderful odyssey thru these famous New York areas by the wonderful Alana. From our initial booking (my wife is coeliac, so requires some menu adjustment), to meeting up and right thru all of our day she was delightful, knowledgeable, interesting and genuinely cared about all the group. She was extremely well organised, which... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our food tour of Little Italy and Chinatown. Our tour guide Liz was fun, knowledgable and passionate about the food we were tasting and the history of the area. The food was delicious-tasting sized portions but perfect amount. It was interesting to learn about the history of the area and how food played a role in the... More

Every year around the holidays, I like to take my goddaughter and her family on a special outing in Manhattan, whether for a show, a special shopping trip, or some other interesting attraction. This year I decided a food tour would be fun, and I'm so glad I chose Ahoy's Little Italy/Chinatown Food tour, it was better than I could... More

Our tour director, Liz, was excellent. She gave us great information and was able to answer all questions people in the group had. The tour was approximately 3 hours long. We were casually dressed with appropriate walking shoes. The food samplings were appropriate from each place we visited. My only suggestion would be that the first place we visited should... More

We took the tour of Little Italy and China Town to celebrate my 50th birthday. Liz was a great tour guide. She was very knowledgeable of the food as well as the history of the area. We had a great time visiting restaurants and shops we would probably have walked right by otherwise. I would highly recommend this tour! Lots... More

We had a our family group of six people and were very lucky to have Liz, our very charming and knowledgeable guide, all to ourselves. Even though we've lived in the NYC area for over 25 years, it was our daughter who now lives in SF who found this great tour online for us to do the day after Christmas.... More

Thank you for the wonderful review. We love the cheeses and sesame balls too-- so glad you enjoyed them along with the historical content and Liz's company. It's also great to see that even though you are from the area the tour was very enjoyable. Thanks again and Happy New Year! More
