Great way to explore NYC/Italy/China in one trip

Loved the historical narratives throughout the tour, the locations and obviously the food tastings, enough for a meal! Guide was friendly, personable, knowledgeable.

Excellent. First of all I want you to know that we live in New York. We had some friends in from Minnesota and wanted them to get a feel for our city. They absolutely did! Liz was very knowledgeable about the neighborhoods and the history of the immigrant experience. The food was an added bonus. She took us to places... More

Food tours are a great way to get a feel for what daily life in NY is really like. The food is great and the history that our guide Liz shared was an added bonus. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting NYC.

I hoped a food tour would be an interesting, tasty way to spend the morning with my teenager. And, it was! Alana was a gracious guide and an excellent storyteller. We tasted delicious things in both Little Italy and Chinatown: cannoli, cheeses, olives, gnocchi, dumplings and more. The egg rolls on the tour were the most delicious I've ever had.... More

The tour starts at 10:30am so we arrived at 10:15am at the address sent to us via email and our guide was waiting with a sign. It was really cold and had snowed the previous day so she had some cancellations and so it was just us and one other couple which was nice. We were given a pamphlet to... More

My friends and I are huge foodies and always wanted to explore Chinatown and Little Italy (Me especially since I'm Italian!) Also we're history buffs. So this seemed like the perfect thing for me friends and I to do while visiting NYC. IT WAS! Liz, our tour guide, was amazing. It was clear that this was her passion! The food... More

Ahoy New York's Food Tasting & Cultural Walking Tour of Chinatown and Little Italy is a great way to truly see (and taste!) New York. It was the perfect length of tour with the perfect amount of food. From the proscuitto and fresh mozzarella to the homemade gnocchi to the Dim Sum and potstickers, it was a great way to... More

I have lived in NYC for about 6 years now and frequent Little Italy and Chinatown but it was so great to see some new places and learn the history of these spots! We went in January and it was around 20 degrees that day and windy but the time went by so fast. Alana was our tour guide and... More

Our tour took us to places that we never would have ventured to. The samples were tasty and gave us ideas of places to return to for full meals/treats. We went on the Chinatown and Little Italy Food Fest Tour with Liz on 1/11/15. Liz was knowledgeable and very friendly. We would definitely recommend it.

Alana is a wonderful tour guide. She has great knowledge to share in a friendly way. We were visiting out of town and took our native NY Aunt with us. She enjoyed the tour and thought it was as great as we did. I love the fact that we were able to go to both Little Italy and Chinatown. Do... More
