We just did this last weekend. I LOVE scavenger hunts, mysteries, running around and finding contacts, getting to meet people and learn about a city. Accomplice: The Village is ALL THAT! The performances are truly exceptional - quirky, funny and incredibly entertaining. This was definitely a highlight of our trip. Next time we come, we'll do Accomplice: New York. Can't... More

Of all of the interactive theater-type experiences I've had in NYC (eg., Queen of the Night, the McKittrick Hotel, Escape the Room) this is my favorite. It's clever, well-executed, and just a fun way to spend an afternoon. Also not a bad way to explore some of the more interesting nooks and crannies of the West Village. Go with a... More

Met with 6 complete strangers and were thrown into chaos and confusion in an attempt to help our new secret wheel chair bound friend in deciphering a mystery of fraud, theft and the kidnapping. In the search we were scattered across the underbelly and dark corners of the village and introduced to many fun and interesting hidden away places. The... More

My sister recommended we do Accomplice: The Village while in town for our anniversary. We booked tickets for a 3:30pm show and were in a group of 8 other people. 6 in a family and two people there on their own. We all seemed to have a really good time -- oh and no children. All the actors were great,... More

My friends and I all enjoyed this experience. I am not sure what to call it... a "play" is wrong, but it is more than "scavenger hunt". I won't give too much away for fear of spoiling the mystery. Nor will I post photos. Go with a fun group of friends...wear comfortable shoes, and dress for the weather because you... More

A year and a half ago I took my family with teenage kids to Accomplice: New York which I touted as the most fun I have had in New York City. When I recently had the chance to experience Accomplice: The Village with gal pals, I continue to believe that this is one of the most fun things you can... More

Did the "Village" Accomplice this past weekend with a group of friends and had a great time. It was unfortunate that the weather played the biggest villain but fun was had by all regardless. The plastic rain ponchos (provided) completed the experience. Highly highly recommend -- especially if you can fill the "audience" with your own group.

We had the greatest day in the city today!! While I wont describe it I will say it was a fantastic way to spend time with our teen boy! It's not easy to find things that we all find interesting and fun and this was perfect! Thanks for a fun filled day!

If you are not able to book this with 10 people you know then prepare to make new friends as you work together to solve a mystery while discovering fun places in the Chelsea. We did the first play of the day that starts a new run every 30 minutes. The price includes a couple of beverages (some adult) along... More

Found this on Trip Advisor and booked it. Travelling to NY with my sons (13 and 23) I thought they'd find this fun. there were 7 other people in our group (native Nyorkers in their late 20's). The actors are fantastic and the experience was fantastic. I would suggest this for groups of 10 so that you are with your... More

Staying in Greenwich Village

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to get a feel for this diverse and energetic neighborhood. You’ll find NYU students, street performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess. Stroll the streets to discover a mix of majestic town homes and hidden bars and restaurants that give this neighborhood an old-school residential feel. When the sun goes down, check out one of the famous jazz or comedy clubs that still packs them in every night.
