We had Max as our guide and had a wonderful time on our 3 hour tour. We took the "Half Apple, Downtown tour" and really enjoyed learning more about the city and a very efficient walk through several neighborhoods. The private tour was well worth it as the four of us had Max all to ourselves for some great conversation... More

Aaron was our guide for the Dozen Apples tours, and that is what I was wishing for when I booked. Very patient with the billion questions I was asking, very energetic and making jokes all the time, helping with picture taking of us, and taking us to the different locations at a normal pace where we didn't exhaust ourselves. We... More

We had our tour with Nathan an July 1st and it was the best way to get familiar with the city. You are not going to see it all but what you will see and learn will help you get around when on your own. Nathan was friendly and always considerate of everyone. Make sure you have good walking shoes... More

My 13 year old son and I did the dirty dozen full day tour with Nathan. Amazing, I could never have shown him as much of the city with as much information. I can't say enough great things about Nathan he was completely attentive to the entire group. My son and I were actually sad to depart at the end... More

As a native New Yorker residing in Florida now my husband and I returned to New York and decided to act like tourists. We booked a tour with Real NY tours and couldn't have been more pleased. Our guide Aaron was enthusiastic and quite knowledgeable. We did and saw things on this tour that we never would have done on... More

This tour was easy to arrange, great directions and small group. Nathan our guide was excellent. He kept us moving but at a comfortable pace. We saw parts of the city we probably wouldn't have gone to otherwise. His knowledge of the history of each area was great. He has a wonderful speaking voice and was loud and clear at... More

Very well planned, our guide (Gregory) was amazing. You could feel the passion in his voice as we walked around listening to him. I'd like to say that this tour shows you the soul of New York.

We did the Dozen apples group tour with Gregory and really enjoyed the full 7 hours he spent with us. He knew New York history and we learnt a lot. The pace was very suitable, not too fast but we still covered a lot. I highly recommend the tour to familiarise yourself with New York.

I took 2 private tours and it was the best thing I could've done especially as a first time NY visitor. Our first full day there we did the 6 hour "Big Apple" tour with Shawn. He was a great guy and extremely knowledgeable. Right from the start he taught us how to read the subway map and it made... More

Dear Danny, We really appreciate your rave review. We don't often get reviews from visitors who take two tours during their stay. So great to hear that your private tours with Shawn and Greg were 'the best things you could have done.' As a small family run business, it makes us proud to hear you say that our company was... Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.
