What a rip-off!!!

We were walking in Times Square when a seller convinced us to get the tickets. 30$ tickets seemed quite cheap for a comedy club, so we thought we found a good deal. It was until... read more

Bought tickets off a guy at Times Square and ended up going on Sunday night. Half empty room and really poor bar. Comedians were alright. But go somewhere else, like the Comedy cellar.

We purchased our tickets in Time Square for half the price just like everyone else seems to have $30 for 2 tickets. We were told to get there 15 mins before the show but almost didn't get in without a reservation so beware. There is a 2 drink minimum and drinks are a minimum of $10. It says 2 for... More

A Club-authorized dude, Tim, hanging around Times Square outright lied us about who would be performing on a Tues. evening when he offered us a pair of $30 tickets for $40 total. We walked away and so he reduced the price to $30. Only after we paid did he mention the two drink minimum, but we were prepared for that.... More

I am sorry but I as the owner need to respond to this review....If you arrive a half prior to any show in the world especially in NYC , you will find a sparse crowd...As you indicated , by showtime there were 60 people in the room...On a Tuesday night back to school week I guarantee that was one of... We bought tickets in Times Square for this. They were $30 but she was "kind" and gave them to us for $20. I think these vendors get whatever they can sell them for. if you really want to go, bargain hard. When you get there you have to buy a minimum 2 drinks per person. For the 2 of us... More

We purchased tickets on Broadway from a tout, the price was reduced from $30 to $20 pretty quickly and we probably could have got the price down more if we'd tried. The ticket seller did say we would need to buy drinks but left us with the impression that they'd be less than they were. The venue is 'gritty', don't... More

Total waste of money, we were a group of 12 and went into a comedy club with illusion that we would laugh, well we did when we left as we couldn't believe they got the front to say comedy, The so called comedians seemed very unsure of themselves and there material was very poor, as everyone else has been saying... Our experience was excellent - both value for money and laugh value - but haven't given excellent rating because I'm aware some people paid more for same show. We bought our tickets from street vendor. He mentioned several 'famous' comedians who had been on at the Broadway Club but said that line up could be anyone. He explained 2 drink... More

We were walking in Times Square when a seller convinced us to get the tickets. 30$ tickets seemed quite cheap for a comedy club, so we thought we found a good deal. It was until the guy specified that we had to consume at least two drinks each! Arrived at the place and it was dodgy and not well looked... More

Not for families with younger children, some of the jokes are definitley intended for adults but many of the comdedians were excellent. Some just made you smile while others could make you laugh until you cried. I truely felt like I couldn't laugh any more by the time the show was over!

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
