one of the worst experiences of my life. I've never written a review about anything before but this place (which I just walked out on) was so bad that I had to come on here and write this just to process it for myself! The atmosphere was dark, dingy and extremely uncomfortable, the comedians were so bad and totally not... More

We (a group of friends - 21 year olds) were spending 3 days in NY. A woman approached us saying that they were filming for Comedy Central, and they wanted us to be part of the 50 younger people at the front of the audience, with apparently 500 people in a bigger audience behind us. She also told us that... More

We knew what we were getting ourselves into when we bought the tickets. We got 2 tickets for $20 for an improv show on the street. I think we could have gotten them cheaper. We knew about the two drink minimum or else we may have been really disappointed and mad like other reviewers. The show was actually pretty funny.

All I can say to begin is that thank God we had a livingsocial coupon for this or I'm not sure I'd ever be able to forgive myself. When you call or speak to anyone there, they will assure you that every single "comedian" to don the stage is a "headliner". Nothing could be more untrue. While one front of... More

I was walking over Times Square and a certain man named "Dennis" was yelling all the time "Tina Fey tonight on comedy central!". Unfortunately I couldn't connect to Wifi and check if this is real, so I decided to trust the man and bought the ticket for the show. I asked him twice if Tina Fey will really be there,... More

We were lied to by a man selling tickets at Times Square. He gave us completely false information regarding who was performing there, in order to sell his tickets, then run off. After three trips, there and back, we finally got our refund. Three trips that took time out of our 5 precious days in New York. Avoid this at... More

Street vendor misrepresented acts who were on and it seems (according to other reviews and the admission of staff at venue) to be an ongoing issue. Took a 3rd visit till we finally got our money back.

The entertainment was fun, but the venue was dingy--dark basement. The worst part was the bar-they only served---gulp---"house" alcohol. I mean German Vodka? Really.....NO! It tasted like nail polish remover. Best to order a bottle beer. The snack menu is minimal--eat before you go

We were approached to buy tickets to this dreadful comedy club by a guy on the street in Times Square. What a mistake we made! We were sold two tickets for the price of one - only once we had paid for the tickets did we see there was a two drink minimum per person. This is not a problem... More

Got tickets on the street, when we arrived we were met by the bouncer who told us it was sold out. Really? How rude to sell tickets on the Street and not be allowed in. SCAM~ Don't fall for it. When we asked to speak to the manager she was extremely RUDE to put it nicely. Down right awful miserably... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
