I only put 1 star because you can't go any lower. The vendors they employ selling the tickets on the walkways lied about the high profile comedians that I would see that night (the ones there were funny though) when I complained to the wait-staff he tried to argue and was aggressive with me to the point of a fellow... Me and my friend, who is actually going into the military soon, decided to go to New York City for the day, and it was pretty awesome but sadly this was majorly disappointing. We had walked to Times Square from the freedom tower and after a while we decided to talk to Tim, who was selling tickets to a comedy... More

Where to start....boyfriend and I really wanted to go to a comedy club in New York as was recommended to us by friends and on online sites for 'things to do'. We stayed in New York for three nights so our time there was precious. We bought the tickets in a hurry for the show on Tuesday 23rd June 2015.... More

We were dumb enough to buy tickets for this place off a guy named Jason in Times Square. He said that Daniel Tosh was performing and that he could offer us tickets for $30 each through the bar, but we had to buy 2 drinks when we got there. We stupidly didn't check to make sure that it was legit... More

Went to the comedy club last night on my last night of a business trip. Didn't know any of the comedians but they were quite funny. It's a small venue so it makes the show pretty interactive and lots of the crowd get involved. Stopped at Room 53 next door the get a drink before the comedy show which was... More

When 3 of the 4 comedians' routines revolve around how bad the audience is, you know you have a place that stretches to inspire any laughter. We walked out midway through the third routine when he emphatically stated that Pope Benedict was a Nazi and then followed it up with Pope Francis being an f"ing hypocrite. No class. No humor.... We bought a pair of tickets off the street that requested that we make reservations for the night we planned on going, so we made reservations for a 9:00 show on a Wednesday night. The person who made our reservations said to come at 8:30 to be seated, we showed up early around 8:10 hoping to get seated early and... More

I am very sorry about your experience at Broadway Comedy Club... Generally we do seat a half-hour prior to showtime... On some occasions there is a show in the showroom that does run longer than expected... We certainly apologize for any inconvenience this might have caused you.... As for the two beverage minimum that is pretty standard at comedy clubs... More

You're not allowed to sit where you want. Seat numbers are not allocated on the tickets or on the reservation and do not exist. The hosts directed me to my seat and when challenged they said that I cannot sit where I want and must sit in the seat allocated. I felt as though I was at school. Comedy was... More

I am very sorry about your experience at Broadway Comedy Club... Generally we seat based on a few different criteria.... I am not sure what night of the week you attended, however if it was a weekend seating it can be tight and that is why we have specific seating for specific people... Also if it's a weeknight where it's... More

We had a really good evening we ached from laughing at the comedians but felt ripped off by the venue as we paid 30 dollars each when most people were charged 20 and everyone had to have 2 drinks each at over 11dollars per drink.

This is such a waste of money. We bought tickets in time square for this (30 dollars for 2 people) and were told you had to reserve a table and show up half an hour early. When we got there we were greeted by a rude woman at the entrance podium and were told you had to buy minimum 2... More

I am very sorry about your experience at Broadway Comedy Club... Generally we do seat a half-hour prior to showtime... As for the two beverage minimum this is pretty standard at virtually every comedy club in the US.... We carefully price our beverages competitively... Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
