My husband and I went on their food tour of Greenwich Village. So fun and great food! Very worthwhile and our guide, Robin was fantastic! I feel like i know my way around the village a bit and some great restaurants to head back to for the full meal.

We had booked the Dessert Walking Tour - Cupcake, cookie and Gelato tour for 6 people - almost £200. It is quoted as going to 5/6 places And having cupcakes, cookies and gelato. The tour is quoted as " finishing at Magnolia Bakery " " from Sex and the City". They do not tell you that you are not allowed... More

We went on the Nolita and Noho walking tour day and it was spectacular. It was a beautiful spring day. Our guide was Bert, and he was entertaining, articulate, friendly, and knowledgeable. All the tastings were delicious but we probably liked the pizza at the Emporio the best. It was an interesting neighborhood. We stopped for a few minutes in... More

We were lucky enough to get tickets for the Original Village tour with the fantastic Raheem as our guide. This is obviously a guy that is very passionate about his Food and his work, his city and is very knowledgeable and approachable. This is probably the best value for money tour I have been on, being shown around with a... More

Delicious tour along Bleeker Street in Greenwich Village. Rebecca was a wonderful guide. She was passionate and precise about the food, history and architecture of the neighborhood. We were so full we didn't eat dinner until late Saturday night. I've already recommended the tour to my parents who are visiting in June!

We joined Sephrah's tour of Greenwich Village at the end of March, and had a great time! Sephrah was a fantastic and funny guide, she included everyone and I certainly felt comfortable to ask questions or join in with a joke. We went to 8 different places (I think!), some of which we were stood inside, some we were on... More

Recently did the Heart of the Village tour with Barri on a cold New York day. The food was great, the grilled cheese sandwich was so good!!! The pizza was one of the best I've tasted. Plentiful food and did not need to eat dinner that night. Barri was a fount of knowledge on the history and culture of the... More

Bert was our guide for the day and right away made each individual in the group feel like they were part of something special. The tour was so much better than expected. Spontaneous at times with hidden treasures only locals would know about. Loved how the locals met him in the street and said hello. Thank you for this great... More

Did this tour with my husband and adult daughters. Had a great time, food is amazing - wish I would have paced myself early on as there was so much food. Well worth the price of admission!

Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
