This is the 4th food tour I've taken with Foods of New York and it was fabulous. We took the Chinatown tour which is a little more expensive, but I believe the money could not be better spent. My husband and I did the Greenwich Village tour, based on Trip Advisor reviews. It was brilliant fun, we got to try loads of amazing food - no pizza can EVER live up to Joe's now!! Our guide was really friendly and helpful and a proper local. Some of it did feel like a strong sales pitch, but then again...

Took the food tour of Chelsea and Meat Packing District. Curt (tour guide) was fantastic! Funny and made the tour very interesting. Would highly recommend this tour and the Chelsea area to anyone of any age. Can't wait to go back to this area again.

Enjoyed the tour with three friends. Raheem was our guide - very informative about the food, the area, architecture as well as local history of the Greenwich Village area. Tour lasted 3 and a half hours. Had more then enough to eat.

Even though I have been to Greenwich Village several times, I learned so many new things about the history of the area. The food tastings were great and I got to try several new kinds of food I have never tried before. I would highly recommend this tour and the tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable.

I am so glad I joined the Foods of New York Tours. It was a perfect day out to not only enjoy Greenwich Village which I had heard so much about, but also to learn a lot about its multi-faceted food scene that made the area so uniquely different from other parts of NYC.
