We saw the 2015 Spring Spectacular. It was absolutely superb. A great blend of a terrific Orchestra, singers and dancers who put on a show of such high energy it took your breath away. The shows highlight was the Singing in the Rain segment performed under a real downpour- brilliant. Incredibly the auditorium can hold almost 6,000 people The next... More

Radio City Music Hall is easily the most beautiful theater venue left in New York City. It is an art deco masterpiece, with grand public spaces. Even after a couple of interior renewals, it still has the railings, wall art, signage and 'sense of place' of the original hall. It is not a cheap ticket, but Radio City delivers a... More

We did the stage door tour and had our picture taken with a Rockette. This is well worth doing for the history and to see such a lovely theatre when it's quiet and empty. Elegant Art Deco, plush interior.

Go and see the show of The Rockettes. It is a memorable spectacle. The dancers choreograph with perfect sync. The songs are great and the actors too. Try to buy tickets in the orchestra.

Nothing to dislike. One and a half hours of top class entertainment, with dancing at the heart of the show. Well done as a loose story line, which basically allows the director to do more or less what's necessary to keep the audience very well entertained.

History about the start of Radio City Music Hall. Tour involves climbing stairs - which could make it difficult for some people.

Take the tour. You get to see behind the scenes of America's most famous show place. Your guide -- and they are all well informed and interesting -- will provide you with a fascinating history of the place, take you to parts of the enormous complex that you cannot otherwise see, and introduce you to a real live Rockette. If... More

Radio City used to offer a double feature, an orchestra, plus the Rockettes. The stage show is till lavish, but the price has gone up considerably, and the movies are gone. The Rockettes were never chosen for their beauty, so much as for their legs, and I believe recent lawsuits have resulted in a few in the line who are... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
