These shops are great just to browse through and unless you are into shopping, there is not much else to do.

From the movies I was expecting something with a 'wow' factor but, it's just ok. Lots of shops, depending how deep your pockets are... (",)

Shopping is a lot of fun on the ave your choices are unlimited. Some of the shops are pricey. I got my hair done at one of the salons it was 150 for cut dry and style but i felt like a star when i left.

Fifth avenue has wonderful stores, from lower end to designer brand stores. Fifth avenue is also the home of 2 great flagship store for kids, American Girl and Build a Bear Workshop. There's something for everyone.

We shopped there in the summer of 2012 and indeed it's a very good area to shop. Prices are generally very reasonable and the quality is really good. You have to be mindful of what you buy though and don't assume that everything is sold at a good price.

I've been here twice during the Christmas season and cannot say enough good things about it. Go to the fabulous shops during the day. Then bundle up and head out at night to see the decorations, light shows, and store windows. Each store tries to out do the next with beautiful lights and music. Great fun for kids and adults... Probably one of the best avenues for shopping, definitely worth visiting with some lovely old buildings to view.

Just like a movie set with yellow taxis and huge buildings dominated intermittently by landmark sites such as St Patrick's Cathedral, Trump Towers, Tiffany &Co. At the top is the iconic Plaza hotel; the Apple Store and of course Central Park. Spend a good few hours exploring....
