We've seen a few plays, but this was our first on Broadway. What a terrific play! Jennifer Nettles did a fantastic job, as did Carly Hughes! The entire cast was wonderful!! We were very happy we chose this play. The acting, dancing, and singing was top notch. We were still singing "All that Jazz" 3 hours later. Definitely recommend Chicago... More

I am not a fan of the storyline to Chicago, but when it was announced Jennifer Nettles from Sugarland was going to play Roxy I had to go see the show. I honestly was amazed at her performance she really did an awesome job, and did not have a country accent that you would expect. Carly Hughes played Velma and... More

We went for Chicago for two reasons: TKTS on the day of the performance was available (reasonably priced), and we were keen to see a Broadway classic while we were in NYC. I would probably recommend seeing something else if you're just after a fun night of entertainment on Broadway. The performance itself was really good but it's not that... More

We are fans of Jennifer Nettles from Sugarland, so came to NYC to see her perform as Roxi in "Chicago". We liked that she showcased her powerful voice, and yet didn't sound like you plucked her off the country music scene and dropped her into a Broadway show! Carly Hughes was equally amazing as Velma. For a show that is... More

I had no idea what to expect going to see this show. This show is storyline intensive since there is no set, and really no props. In fact the focal point at first is the orchestra. Because of that, pretty much any seat in the theater will give you a good view of the show. The seats themselves are tight.... More

This was my first broadway show and it didn't fail to please. The choreography was amazing and they delivered the lines brilliantly. The orchestra was also very good

We went to see Chicago so I could see Jennifer Nettles. I thought she did a fantastic job, though she was definitely a Broadway newbie. She has clearly worked really hard to get up to speed, and she's good, but Carly Hughes' Velma really blew me away. I loved the show. Be warned... the bathrooms are tiny, and there are... More

My friends and I were afraid that our trip would be cancelled due to snow so we didn't book our Broadway play tickets in advance. Of all of our options the day of, Chicago was the most economical. We got Monday night center Orchestra seats for eighty eight dollars at rush the day of. The seats were great and the... More

What a bust this show was. We walked out halfway through. The cast were pedestrian, and the two female leads were in a competition to see who could be the most one-paced and lacklustre. We left and headed straight for a bar to get the sour taste out of our mouths. How this show still attracts anybody amazes. I note... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
