We were part of the Diner En Blanc this year, which took place in Nelson Rockefeller Park. This scenic area along the Hudson, with views of Jersey, the Statue of Liberty and the skyline, even on the NYC side is just beautiful. We were so impressed with how clean and gorgeous this area was. Great place to bring your kids,... More

We visited this park after our trip to the 911 memorial. It is on the southwest corner of the island, and is a serene peace of land in what otherwise can be an extremely bustling city. If you're downtown and looking for somewhere to relax, look out over the water, and feel the grass between your toes, then this park... More

Stayed at the Conrad with the kids. Its the perfect spot for the kids to get out and play. Huge playground and they have tons of toys they pull out for the day including pool tables and ping pong tables. Perfect for getting jealous and letting your kids play with rich peoples kids. You might even spot some famous people.

The mostly of park area is passing for a modernization. Lots of people working and some isolated areas. Come back in 3 or 4 months. That is the place to get the boat to Liberty Statue and Ellis Islands

This park is great for taking in the view and also for the Tom Otterness sculptures, they're such fun. Plenty of benches to sit and watch the sunset over Jersey City and the Statue of Liberty. Lots of green space too for picnics and games with the family

This is the park along the Hudson almost at the tip of Manhattan. Pretty side streets. Many benches to sit and look across the Hudson at the Jersey coast,The Statue of Liberty, or just the passing boats. Good idea for a warm night.warm night .

A small park by the Hudson River, this place is perfect for a stroll to get away from the bustling downtown. There are grassy lawns to relax in and benches to sit in while admiring the river. The park has always been clean whenever I've visited. Looking north from the park, one can see the Empire State Building while to... More

This park is just breath-taking, enough space for walking, running a picnic, or just lounging around and soaking up the sun. Lady Liberty stood in sharp relief in the distance.

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
