There are some nice museums and interesting attractions there, but also a lot of chain stores and obvious touristy draws. I would recommend swinging through if you are down that way, but I wouldn't plan a ton of time down there. more

The port offers a great view of Brooklyn Bridge and for this alone is worth a visit! But the area is for tourists alone and they are plenty of buses around. more

South Street Seaport is located south of the Brooklyn Bridge. After walking the Brooklyn Bridge it was time to slow down a bit. South Street Seaport is a nice place to unwind and relax.
