A great museum, they have good and famous paintors like Van Gogh, Miro, Picasso and a lot more. I liked it because its not the typical european museum you can spend 5 days to visit. Its takes less than half a day to visit and you see great paintings.

I have been to the museum before but it is great. The temporary exhibition is very interesting, the free audio guides are some of the best.

If you only have a short period of time start on the fourth and fifth floors. This is a treasure trove of art. Aside from the big names: Van Gough's starry night, Picasso's girl before a mirror, Dali's the persistence of memory, Worhol's soup cans, Chagall's I and the village - there were innumerable gems from artists I knew and... We dropped in here for a couple of hours en route to somewhere else. But I'm extremely glad we did. We loved the sculpture garden as well as the paintings on the top floor. Most interesting museum shop I've ever seen and worth a look all by itself.

I am not an art expert or connoisseur by any means, but if there was one museum that awoke a desire of learning and appreciation for the fine arts, it was this one. There were plenty of collections to enjoy and it's so rich with all kinds of materials that I simply wish I had the chance to visit it... More

Me and the wife went here as part of our 5 days in New York honeymoon. We purchased a new York pass which gave us a discount as long as you squeeze a lot in over the time you purchased (we got 2 days). We managed to bypass a lot of the que, it's worth getting to the place when... More

Very impressive, unbelievable what all hangs together. 6 floors of paintings from Van Gogh to Warhol, Matisse, Picasso ect. Sometimes too many people. Really worth it.

The art is fabulous, but had to fight to see the art with loads of European spring break tourists. Long lines to get in, waited about 45 minutes for a ticket. The free audio guide is helpful, especially to find specific works of art.

Me and my mother decided to visit only the Gaugin exhibition but passed by the Frank Lloyd Wright exhibition as well. The latter was as disappointing as the first was fantasric! Great architecture and helpful staff. Very crowded.

I myself did not truly enjoy the visit here, as I am NOT an art lover. I took my children here, as they all have different interests. There are many famous works displayed here. To see Starry Night was a life long dream of one of my children which you just can't put a price on, except for the price... More
