Great exhibits, food and fun! Must check backpacks and large bags so bring the minimum and save time. Food is pricey but well worth it.

The Met has it all, and you need to come back several times to take it all in. The Egyptian wing, complete with a temple rescued when the Aswan Dam was built, is amazing. The artwork is extraordinary and covers many genres. This is a must-see (but more than once!).

This was not our first trip, so we focused on the two new exhibits. Both the Punk & Impressionist Art and their inluence on the fashion of the day were quite interesting. If this IS your first trip, pick an area of interest and see that first, then go on, and on and on as your energy allows.

We are always astounded by the art collections at the Met. We were happy to be in town for the Impressionism, Fashion and Modernity exhibit, which we had read about. I recommend leaving yourself a good amount of time the exhibits are many and very interesting. We especially enjoyed the Egyptian exhibit.
