On top of the Rock ... if possible at all try to pick a sunny day. The views are amazing and there are different levels. The upper one has no security windows anymore, so the best to take pictures. It offers a spectular view on the Central Park and the other part of Manhattan, also the Hudson river. Being there... More

Great view of the Empire State Building, the Chrysler building was slightly blocked but the whole view is really good. You can go up the Empire state building but seeing it from the rock is really worthwhile. The guy on the lift was very entertaining when we waited for the lift to go down. If you can, video the ride... More

This is a small, urban area, which is in the heart of mid-town Manhattan and yet you could walk right by it and miss it; it's surrounded by skyscrapers and shops. It's a sunken square which attracts people around it to gaze downwards. In the summer there is not much to see for your efforts other than the tops of... More

This is an amazing open space in the middle of all these Hugh skyscrapers. You can watch the today show being made and people on the ice rink.

I love Top of the Rock, in my opinion it's the only way to see NYC. The views are breathtaking. I recommend going up in the evening, this way you see the city in daylight and evening. There are several floors with a range of views, be sure to go to the top floor where you can take in the... More

We visited the Rockefeller Centre on 1 July 2014 and was hosted by Helga. She comprehensively educated us on the historical background and pointed out all the unique artistic finishes found throughout the complex. It was a unique experience and highly informative. We recommend the tour with Helga very strongly. The view from Top of the Rock was breath-taking. Indeed... More

My wife and I spent 8 days in NY about a week ago. We tried to do everything- Rockefeller center, Empire state bldg, Statue of Liberty, Public Library, attend "Wicked" at Gershwin Theater, eat at Carnegies Deli and Juniors, and just do a lot of walking and looking. The best part of the trip was the tour of Rockefeller Center.... More

A must do to see Manhattan from above. Fantastic view for the money. Love looking at the building details and the different architecture designs. Next time we will go at night.

We had a luck one day, to have especially sunny weather, when decided to go toward Rockfeller Plaza, or let's call it the Rockfeller Center, the whole complex of buildings between 47th and 51th street, and also from Fifth to Seventh Avenues. To be exact, there are in total 19 commercial edificies and all built by Rockefeller family. Among the... More
