I visited NYC in the summer, and this place is beautiful! Right now there's a big artistic plant form (looks like a pony head) filled with different flowers and plants in the center where they usually place the famous Xmas tree. You can't miss it!

The views from this place are amazing! Hardly any queuing, there are a few videos playing when you queue anyway which are interesting. The lift has a clear roof so you can see the lift shaft as you go up (or just look away if you find it scary)! There are 3 separate levels when you get to the top,... More

We followed an information leaflet which highlighted the art and architecture of the Rockerfeller Centre. The roof garden isn't open to the public but its a decent free 30-45 minute visit in the centre of Manhattan.

Down by 5th ave. you will encounter a barrage of high-rises, erected with much poise and majesty. It was breath taking and a little nerve racking (coming from a Northern Canadian boy who lives in a town with a population of 10,000 people, I'm sure you can deduce why :P). From a tourist stand-point, The Rockefeller Center offers great locations... More

Rockefeller centre known as the "top of the rock" ohh my its fantastic, I will go there again. The views are fantastic at night, it was a night when the moon was huge and it was a clear summer night. Perfect pictures. I defiantly recommend this for everyone to see at least once. It was magical.

My husband had visited both the Empire State and the Rockefeller Centre previously and said there was no comparison, the best experience by far was at the Rockefeller Centre as there were fewer queues and better views. Whilst I can't make the same comparison, I can't believe the views from the Rockefeller Centre could be bettered. It was our first... More

The visit to the observation deck was great. Good views, excellent customer service and one one elevator which is an experience in itself. However, try to get on the Rockefeller tour as well. It takes about 75 minutes and encompasses the each of the buildings in the centre and highlights a lot of the art and architecture in a very... More

A lot of fanfare is made about the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree. The news even follows it's trip from it's origin to NYC on day of delivery. It is absolutely gorgeous to see it when it's fully lit. This is a must attraction in the winter. In the summer there are surprise installations like Jeff Koons and other local artists.
