High-end boutiques

A bit difficult place to navigate but when wondering around we found nice high-end boutiques :) Rockefeller Plaza is also worth seeing.

Great place to stop or walk when it is freezing. Get a hot coffee downstairs and watch the ice skaters. Also a good bathroom stop.

I visit this place whenever I visit New York City. This is one of the attractions which must be visited by tourists. We pass through this place on the 5th Avenue whenever we walk from east side to west side and everytime I feel there is something new and something more and more attractive. Most important attraction here is the... More

Rockefeller Center is a collection of buildings that are located between 6 th Ave & 5th Ave. Between W 48th St & W 51 st. At the center is a skating rink located between W 49th & W 50th. In December there is a large Christmas tree just w of the skating rink. There are many national flags on display.... More

Helga S. was the best host one could hope for! She understands all sorts of interesting art facts about the center and makes everything very interesting. If you have to, wait a few tours until she comes on duty! It's much more interesting with a knowledgeable guide. My 2nd favorite activity from the whole NYC trip.

Long queues but organised perfectly with minimal waiting times. This is easily the best view you'll see of NYC, simply stunning. It's a must on the tick list of things to do in New York.

The views are breath taking. worth the money there is a lot of history there they give you a little peek of what, why and when it all came about. it's really cool you can have a professional picture taken of you looks like you are sitting on a beam on top of the world. You are not obligated to... More

My husband and I did the walking tour of Rockefeller Center last weekend and it was a blast! Our tour guide, John, was knowledgeable and very funny! It started snowing quite heavily on our tour so we did do a bunch of ducking into various buildings, but the stories we were told were so seamless that you wouldn't even know... More

Very pretty to see during the holiday season, but also very crowded. Nice photo opportunities, but I wouldn't spend much time here.

The View from the Rock was our first attraction when we visited New York in November 2014. We visited in the evening and were instantly amazed by the views. Unlike the Empire State Building there are several easily accessible levels with decreasing viewing obstructions – the upper most floor was great for taking pictures of the skyline. Of both towers... Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
