Definitely a place to visit. Very relaxing place, great atmosphere. Should be on everyone's to do list.
Picked up a toy for a Christmas present when visiting the store and when I got to the cash desk the cashier advised there was no label on the item and I needed to go and get another one as she didn't believe the price I told her - suffice to say I lost my place and then had to... More
Everything is amazing at FAO. The toys are in set areas making it easy to browse for brand, age and gender specific toys. You can easily waste several hours here. Tip: go early ie when it first opens to avoid the crowds. You'll enjoy browsing with young children when there are less people to navigate past.
Great "historical" place to visit with children, especially during the holidays. Don't forget to visit the Big Piano!!!

It was crowded but not too crowded. We also witnessed a birthday child's birthday party parade through the store led by a toy soldier and accompanied by Cinderella. When my husband... More

I can't imagine taking a kid there...talk about sensory overload! My one regret was that I really wanted to play on the piano made famous in... More
Everybody keeps talking about 'Toys are Us', wich is, undeniably, a great shopping place but, in my opinion, Fao Schwartz 5th avenue (right beside apple store) is the most attractive and spectacular Toy Store of the entire World. If you have kids, obviously, it is a must visit place but, even if you dont, its nice going there cause it... More
