When you walk into the lobby of the Crystler Building you are blown away by the ornate panelling, ceilings, and marble all veined and perfect! All the lifts are laid out in individual wood paneling design. It is an absolutely beautiful building; my favourite. When you look upwards, and see all the chrome gListening away in the sunshine, it's amazing!

This is in my opinion the most beautiful building in all of NYC. I personally loved the way it looked last week with the sunset behind it from our vintage point. The architectural design is very unique and very detailed oriented. It was pretty cool to be able to view it from Queens as well as it stands tall in... More

I love the design of the building! The spire and gargoyles really makes the building unique and just beautiful! Inside the lobby, you would find a ceiling mural above you which is gorgeous and huge(100ft!!)

A beautiful building to see lit up at night. The foyer is open to visitors free of charge and is worth a walk through to see the deco features

Even if you only walk in to go into the lobby, it's such a cool building - you just have to see it. Art deco at it's finest.

It was such a beautiful sunny day and the views were amazing, the 102nd floor was closed due to flooding which was a shame but still great. A must!

Was advised to visit this timeless classic and once we had worked out how to get into it - between the shops which now locate the ground flop was not disappointed. It is an art deco triumph - go and be amazed. Beautiful inside and out.

This is by far the most stunning building in new york. The lobby is also breathtaking especially the canvas ceiling. I only wish I could have seen more.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
