This is one classy art deco style building. In the mid 60’s my father worked for one of the companies on the upper floors; his office had a fantastic view, but too high up for my taste. This old building brings back memories.

This building is really unique and beautiful. You can't really tour the building except for walking into the lobby which is nicely decorated during the holidays. In the lobby the style is art deco with a nice ceiling mural. If you are in the area, it is worth walking through but you can also spot it from any areas nearby.... More

Everybody knows what this building looks like but your jaw drops and you smile when you stand underneath it and look up. I first noticed this amazing building when we flew over it before we landed at night. I was amazed that I could recognise it from up in the air as it is not very tall as far as... More

Visit, if possible, during the holiday season, as their decorations and tree are lovely. This is not a long stopover, it's just the magnificent Deco lobby that can be viewed, but worth the trip. It's best to tie this to your visit to Grand Central Station, as it is practically across the street. Take photos!

Honestly, this building is not that popular as other attractions, but oh boy! It is so so beautiful during the night, make sure you are there to witness it! The architecture is very special when compared to all the buildings I have seen before. It is just impressing.

Another New York icon. What a lovely building. Even more beautiful in the flesh than in the photographs. And the lobby is an art deco treat. Don't miss it.
