We have been to several plays at the original playhouse and downtown. They are always 1st rate whether a musical or drama. Would highly recommend for a fun and entertaining night out. Most seats are good especially at the downtown playhouse.

If you are looking for a GREAT show in a really cool old theatre, this is the place. Come and support local. Like so many theatres this one also struggles to stay a float. Not because of the performances. They are wonderful.

Since 1937 Flat Rock Playhouse has wowed it's patrons and visitors to the area with incredible productions leaving theater goers begging for more. Be sure to book you tickets early as shows can sell out quickly.

The first show I saw at the Flat Rock Playhouse was Zelda. It was outstanding. The acting, singing and staging would be at home in a Broadway theater. I also saw Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and thought the actors were very, very good.

Every year the performances at FR Playhouse have been tempting at least once... NOW the FRP has downtown Hendersonville offering a second helping of tempting performances... and do not forget about Music on the Rock!

The performers were wonderful and the show fantastic for a small playhouse. We didn't see the "mist" mentioned in the program but assume their fog machine might have been on the fritz.

Great show! Downtown stage is small venue. Gives an up-close personal feel to the show. The staff was friendly & helpful. Only negative to the evening was the CASH ONLY drinks/concessions.
