Took a day off from the beach and went to the aquarium, it was nice! It wasnt crowded, so you dont get the rushed feeling, like some of the larger aquariums. The price was great also, one of the most affordable things to do in the OBX. We spent half the day walking around, playing the games outside and looking... More

The aquarium is a little off the beaten path, but has a very afforable entrance fee, it is clean, small so you don't feel like you are walking forever, and well maintained. My son and I go every year we are in outer banks and always have a great time. He loves the large tank with the big sharks in... More

The NC aquarium is a great side trip while in the outer banks. The museum features local fish and other ocean and fresh water fish to view in large tanks as well as hands on tanks to touch bamboo sharks , sting rays, and conch fish. The entry price is very affordable and worth the money. Would recommend for families... More

We visited this aquarium in early May, which - I'm sure - is right ahead of the influx of summer visitors. It is clean, it is well laid-out. It's small, but I am comparing it to the National Aquarium in Baltimore near where I live, which is huge. It's reasonably priced at $6 for kids, $8 for adults. I think... More

We went with our granddaughters, 3 and 18 months. They loved it, especially the touch tank. This is NOT a large aquarium, but worth the trip if you are there. More

A great place to take the kids or adults on a too hot or too rainy day. Great for good weather too, as there is a walking trail as well. The shark exhibit is wonderful, and the exhibits give visitors a good idea of local wildlife. More

The shark tank was very exciting and interesting. I expected a lot more before I got there but my expectations were lowered after seeing the small building. It was still a good experience and I liked it a lot. More

Delightful small aquarium. Perfect for my 22 month son. We arrived early so it was not all that busy.He really enjoyed it. It was just 8 dollars for me since he is under two. And you can take your stroller inside that was a big reason i went. I'm expecting and couldnt carry him or chase him the whole time.... More

Very nice and friendly staff. The aquarium is also seemed very fun for kids with a very interactive turtle exhibit. I also liked the shark tank. I recommend checking this out if you have children. More
