The dolphin watch is really good. you can do the attraction all day long and it is a two hour tour thru the sound side in Manteo. You get to see lots of dolphins and also if you take the 6:00PM you will get to the sunset over the water.

Loved this adventure! The dolphins were awesome and the Captain was informative and fun too. Captain Johnny's Dolphin Tours is celebrating their 20th year! Fun for all ages!

Captain Johnny's Outer Banks Dolphin tour was a highlight of our most wonderful week in the Outer Banks. They are very up front about possibility of not seeing any dolphins, or of it taking a while to find some. However, we had good luck to go along with the gorgeous weather, and saw about 30 dolphins, starting about 30 minutes... More

Went on the afternoon dolphin cruise this past Thursday and it was just as nice this time as it was when we went on it 4 years ago. The Captain shares a lot of information, makes for some good laughs and when he says "don't run you'll fall" to the little ones, he means it..LOL. Overall a great time and... More

We had a dolphin and sunset cruise booked. After cutting afternoon activities short and getting the family ready, we proceeded to masked the trek from Southern Shores to Manteo. 15 minutes before our check-in, we received a call canceling our reservation due to weather leaving two children very disappointed. We were lucky to get a last minute reservation on the... More

Went on the 10 am dolphin tour this morning. Had 6yr old, 3.5 yr old and 11 month old children with me. It was fantastic. Captain was great telling us sites as we went along the sound. We saw a ton of dolphins. Didn't feel rushed at all. Seemed very knowledgable. Great views from all over the boat. I'd bring... More

I took the sunset dolphin watch cruise - early in the season, I guess, as there were very limited options - worked out great - the sunset cruise was spectacular and the capt kept us out on the water to enable us to watch the sunset from there. Very knowledgeable and entertaining. Great event for the entire family - saw... More

This is a must for adults and children! It was the most fun we had on the outer banks hands down! We not only saw dolphins but we given a tour around the area and a steady stream of knowledge from the captain. I learned a lot about dolphins and the outer banks too! I checked food purchase but that... More
