“Outer Banks on the shoulder”

My wife and I decided to visit the Outer Banks of NC during spring break which is shoulder season for the area. Temps were good (sixties and low seventies) with little rain. I can't believe I'm reviewing a Visitor's Center--but the one right outside of Manteo was amazing! Of course it had all the pamphlets and information..but the two gentlemen who we dealt with on our two visits in were so nice! They really went out of their way to connect with us, make us feel welcome, and suggest places to visit.... More

My husband and I stayed at the Elizabethan Inn,in Manteo. The room was very clean and very roomy. The staff was very helpful with anything we needed. The grounds were great too with great pools. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay in the Outer Banks.Very quiet and relaxing.Loved the resturant for breakfast and also the health club... More
