We had a great time at the Beachcomber! We loved it was close to the beach so we could easily get lunch - which you earned once you climbed back up the huge dune!!

The place just has awesome atmosphere. From the time you arrive and the restaurant is right on the beach in between two dunes to watching the seals near the shore. There just nothing to complain about. The staff is friendly and helpful picking out your food., and the food is quick and tasty. Definitely worth a visit.

The Beachcomber has been around for years (and it shows!). It's the quintessential Cape Cod beach bar and restaurant. The food is good and the atmosphere is laid back. Wear flips flops or sandals....heals and sneakers just don't work well here with all the sand! The bar has a great drink menu. It can be loud, but that's why you... More

First, it's on the beach. Yes, the parking lot out front has partially disappeared to Mother Nature and her winter storms, and the place seems to be cut out of a sand dune. Second, the attire is sandy beach casual. You'll see families with kids, trendy cool people, surfers and everyone will look like they are having a good time,... More

I'd been once before to this restaurant a few years back, and wanted to bring my boyfriend and 2 early teens to enjoy the surf and food. I'd forgotten how broad and long the beach was, and the great bluffs that back it. The steep sandy walk down was fun, making it feel like you earned the experience of finding... More

Went here for a concert. Arrived a bit early, so had some drinks. Really cool spot located basically on the beach. Fun atmosphere, good mix of young/old/kids. They cleared out the inside for the concert, bar stayed open and it wasn't super crowded which was nice. Will definitely be back.

It's hard to separate the two. Since we apparently can't review Cahoon Hollow Beach without reviewing the Beachcomber, I'll combine them. Your best bet is to plan to spend a couple hours or half day at Cahoon Hollow Beach and get lunch or an afternoon snack at the Beachcomber. We parked at a lot up the street and took the... More

We were a party 18 and the restaurant took wonderful care of us. Split up the kids and adults, which was fine given the ages of our kids. Food was good, service was quick. The drinks were excellent. The raspberry margarita and the goombay smash are phenomenal. Easy to leave stuff at the beach, have lunch then head back to... More

The Beachcomber is located locally along Wellfleet's ocean road. it is located at the middle-most beach and is the site where most tourists prefer to go. If you go, get there early so you can get parking. If you get there by 9 a.m.-10 a.m. , you should be able to get a spot. Make sure you head for lunch... More
