What a great place to visit with the family. Our daughter - who is six years old - was very interested by the turtle nests we found on our path. The trails are fun to walk and the volunteers are always willing to share extra information on Cape Cod wildlife. We spent a good 3 hours walking and watching. A... More

Great place for a hike, even with kids. Watch out for poison ivy! There is no swimming here, but the views are spectacular and worth the visit.

The Visitors Center staff are friendly and knowledgable. There are several paths/trails some wooded and others coastal. All well marked and maintained. It is just a beautiful place to walk and enjoy. I highly recommend stopping for a visit. I can't wait to come again.

Loved the trails. Varied venues with lots of wildlife and natural settings. Well maintained and the visitor center is great. Quite inexpensive. Definitely a must do when visiting Wellfleet

This is quite possibly the most Cape-y place on the Cape: meadows, woods, marsh, and coastal bay. The staff in the Visitor's Center are friendly. The trails/paths are well laid out. The air, the shore birds (Willetts, I think, but might have been dowitchers), the fiddler crabs...the entire place is a wonder. We go several times each summer and can... More

This is a perfect place. There's a fine little exhibit center at the entrance that has lots of information about the local flora and fauna (and a good gift shop). From there you can take a variety of walks but we nearly always do the same one. It's an out-and-back trail to the tide flats. The last stretch is over... More

By all means bring your camera. We were visiting in the evening and the light and peace were almost magic.. All we heard was the breeze rustling the saw grass. You can walk as much or as little as you like since there are trails for everyone.. The center is on the bayside so sunsets are a joy. You don't... More

Lovely trails, not much wildllife in July and if the day camp is not there it is lovely.and qiuiet. The morning program for toddlers is wonderful with an hour of stories then exploration outside and then a craft.

We enjoyed a nature walk on our trip. Our guide was a delight. She was clearly enthusiastic about the Sanctuary and their work and we learned quite a lot. The scenery was beautiful, though we didn't see many birds which is usually for this time of year. Highly recommended.

Great wildlife trails! Met some local volunteers on the trail who gave us loads of information. Right off the main road. Great for kids and adults. Bring your binoculars!
