Beautiful extensive grounds, well marked walking trials, great opportunities for bird watching. Well informed volunteer staff if you have questions. Get there early, as parking is limited.

There is something for everyone and all ages here. I personally like walking the trails. It only costs 2$ to enter or you can buy a family membership which is tax deductible.

No air conditioning so dress appropriately. The fish painting was OK. The area is gorgeous and the Marsh cruise was excellent.

We spent an entire morning here enjoying the quiet (mostly) trails and observing wildlife, including painted turtles, turkeys, red wing blackbirds, hermit crabs, herons and egrets, one of the latter seen from a blind at Goose Pond. In only one place does the Bay View Trail come close enough to hear Route 6. The only other noise came from a... More

Great places to hike and observe MA wildlife and birds. Habitats from forest to shore and bay. Early morning is best--foxes still on prowl near parking lot before the open at 8 am.

Visited here with the family. Kids were reluctant but really loved it and learned a lot. Piece of the world protected from humans. Great to see wildlife in its (next to) purest form.

I love walking the trails here. The landscape is as beautiful as anything in the world, in any season (autumn is notably beautiful). Today we saw a wide variety of bird species, and one painted turtle. I've also seen frogs, pollywogs, a blue heron, small crabs... There is at least one fresh water pond, lots of salt marsh, and wonderful... More

This is a hidden treat on Cape Cod. For only $5.00 for adults you could walk well-groomed trails all day. Great for kids also. Tip: go at low tide. You'll be able to take to boardwalk thru the marsh and then walk the hard packed sand 100's of yards into the bay.

What a great place to visit with the family. Our daughter - who is six years old - was very interested by the turtle nests we found on our path. The trails are fun to walk and the volunteers are always willing to share extra information on Cape Cod wildlife. We spent a good 3 hours walking and watching. A... More
