The park is split in three sections, with the majority of the monuments in one spot. Well laid out and a great tribute to those who have ventured into space. Touching to see a monument to everyone who died during the space age, not just the astronauts. There is a small boardwalk jutting into the water from the largest section.... More

this park is perfect. a lot of history and great view. my future wife and I whave gone here a couple times. I do flower dedications for the anniversary of my moms passing and other special occasions. there is a lot to see if you read everything there. it is usually quiet and we enjoy it every time we go... A beautiful series of monuments dedicated to the memories of the astronauts and individuals involved in our space programs. A great place to visit for anyone interested in our space programs and its history.

The park is a great place to view the rocket launches at Kennedy Space Center without paying their prices. The park is nice and peaceful. The wife and I enjoyed the launch we saw.

Nice little park to go and collect your thoughts and just admire the Indian River Lagoon. You may be lucky enough to see dolphins and manatees in their own habitat, which is a really nice experience. Don't expect a beach, because there isn't one. There are two piers, one short one that has a covered area at the end of... More

Across the water from the Space centre Vehicle Assembly Building...this would make a good place to view a launch. The park itself had hand prints of astronauts with a bit of information about them. There was a nice boardwalk where we saw dolphins playing in the water which was amazing! A man who was fishing there told us we had... More

Lots to see and do. Enjoyed the new Space shuttle exhibit as well as the huge Saturn five Rocket. Overwhelming with things to occupy one. Had to prioritise what to see. A place to spend many hours! Oh , the IMAX cinema is very good with great films on a space theme.

No water fountain for dogs, small space, and dog beach is not available. No signs saying if you can walk around the park with your dogs. You have to park on the street and parking is a $1.00 an hour. Dose have soft grass.

It is the best place to watch launches from KSC. It is a lot better than paying the ridiculous prices to watch launches from the Kennedy Space Center visitor complex. The park is nice and also has another section across the street with a dedication to those who have helped with the space program.

During the peak of the space shuttle era this park was full of observers when the shuttle was scheduled to launch. The small park has several plaques describing the early space launches as well as a pier that offers a nice view of the Indian River. You may see manatees and dolphin if you are lucky. Fish jumping is quite... More
