There were dolphins out in the water. It was so peaceful and quiet. Perfect time filler before Astronaut Hall of Fame opened.

I got up early and drove to this park to watch the orion launch. The view was great even if it was postponed. The crowd was friendly and I would come again.

love this park. Quiet. Peaceful. Gorgeous and unbeatable view. New shuttle monument in place. Go, you might even see manatees or dolphins by the docks!

This is the perfect place to view a launch. It's a peaceful memorial park and is 10 miles across the river from Cape Canaveral. There's lots of free parking, and if you get there in plenty of time there's The Coffee Shoppe a few minutes walk away which serves great home cooked food. An added bonus is that while waiting... The park is split in three sections, with the majority of the monuments in one spot. Well laid out and a great tribute to those who have ventured into space. Touching to see a monument to everyone who died during the space age, not just the astronauts. There is a small boardwalk jutting into the water from the largest section.... More

A beautiful series of monuments dedicated to the memories of the astronauts and individuals involved in our space programs. A great place to visit for anyone interested in our space programs and its history.

The park is a great place to view the rocket launches at Kennedy Space Center without paying their prices. The park is nice and peaceful. The wife and I enjoyed the launch we saw.

Nice little park to go and collect your thoughts and just admire the Indian River Lagoon. You may be lucky enough to see dolphins and manatees in their own habitat, which is a really nice experience. Don't expect a beach, because there isn't one. There are two piers, one short one that has a covered area at the end of... More

Across the water from the Space centre Vehicle Assembly Building...this would make a good place to view a launch. The park itself had hand prints of astronauts with a bit of information about them. There was a nice boardwalk where we saw dolphins playing in the water which was amazing! A man who was fishing there told us we had... More
