It is easy to pass by this neat little hiking park as it is not well advertised. However, the trails are quite easy and offer different lengths for your selection. Little children will be able to enjoy them as well. The small nature center offers some good information on local plants and animals. Hint: combine this casual walk with the... More

Took our 4 kids here since we had some time to kill before we got on our cruise ship. We all enjoyed the nature trails. The Coquina Trail had very little shade, but that didn't bother us too much since it was a nice day and not too hot. I would imagine it would be a very hot walk in... More

Nice days hiking with teenage daughters. Nothing too tough but was nice and quiet and great peaceful experience.

I had never heard anyone talk about going here, what a missed treat. You feel like you have escaped from the urban environment, and have several types of natural habitat to explore, with... More

We stopped at this park with our three kids and loved it. All the different landscapes, a great discovery center, super nice employees. We absolutely loved the hikes, just wish we had brought more bug spray. What a hidden gem of a park. We saw lots of wild life and plants. Loved it!

If you want to visit the woods of central Florida, this is a great stop. It is free. They have a small indoor display on native animals and plants, as well as nature trails.Bring mosquito repellant.

I've ventured through the Enchanted Forest since I was a kid. It's a great area to visit for walking, jogging, and exploring. I would recommend wearing comfortable shorts and a tshirt/tanktop with tennis shoes. Bringing along a bottle of water is smart, too. In the summer it can be pretty hot. I would also advise wearing bug repellent just in... More

After my visit to Kennedy Space center I saw their sign and made a detour. From California, this is a very unique experience doing my 2 miles hiking loop (out of about 6 safe and well marked trails).
