Great place for the family! Take a walk or enjoy your picnic in the shade. The trails are very nicely marked and they are easy to walk. Check out the gift shop for locally handmade items and books.

My eleven year old son and I went on a hike here today and enjoyed the natural beauty of the area. The large oak trees and steep banks were interesting to see. The trails are well marked and easily connect to one another. We were greeted by a very pleasant lady before we started our hike. She had us log... More

To think this place could have been another self storage complex! This sanctuary is pristine and a great place to learn about Florida pre-development. The canal running through it keeps parts of the hiking area cool and serene. Other areas are pine forest. The oak hammocks provide homes for animals and exotic plants such as orchids. The visitors center is... More

we're not big on attractions in titusviille, florida, but one of the loveliest things we do have, is the 'enchanted forest sanctuary'. this is a great area to get away from everything for the day and wander the easy trails under a beautiful forest canopy. it's easy walking and even better when you bring the kids. there is always something... When it's too windy to go boating, it's perfect in the Sanctuary! We've been there twice now in the late afternoon and this last time we brought my brother. It's peaceful and calming and just so darn cool! Being from MN, it's a different kind of woods than we are used to.

The hikes here are easy as there are few hills. The geography is varied enough that it keeps your interest. The help is helpful. The static displays are well kept and informative. We like to go with with our grandson for a casual walk/hike and we always find something interesting.

It is easy to pass by this neat little hiking park as it is not well advertised. However, the trails are quite easy and offer different lengths for your selection. Little children will be able to enjoy them as well. The small nature center offers some good information on local plants and animals. Hint: combine this casual walk with the... More

Took our 4 kids here since we had some time to kill before we got on our cruise ship. We all enjoyed the nature trails. The Coquina Trail had very little shade, but that didn't bother us too much since it was a nice day and not too hot. I would imagine it would be a very hot walk in... More
