This small park packs a big punch. Free admission, beautifully maintained grounds, guides available for nature walks, marked trails covering varying ecosystems and a handicap accessible trail, facilities for special events and music, inside is a mini science center with hands on activities to suit the entire family. Small gift shop with reasonably priced and interesting merchandise. There are rocking... More

Rushed to Kennedy space center at 3:15pm but got sticker shock, as tour package starts at $50 and they close at 6pm. Did not recall such sticker shock when I brought the whole family of seven 18 years ago :-( Nevertheless, we decided to do something before sunset, and tripadvisor led us to E.F.S. Several volunteers were showing tourists soil... More

This is a delightful place to hike and enjoy the flora and fauna of Florida! They've done a lot to enhance the facilities by adding boardwalks, plant labels, etc. It's free and it provides a nice time for the family to enjoy Florida nature!

Nice sanctuary . Good place to go for a walk. Several easy trails. Some elevation which is uncommon in FL. They have a sign in sheet and some complimentary bug spray, but we didn't experience a mosquito problem.

I've walked trails here two or three times, and it's worth returns when in the area. It's interesting to check it out in different seasons. The last time I was there it was hot and dry; it's time to go again, as I would love to see all the color after the rain we have had recently. There are indoor... More

Nature Center with informative displays, library and gift store. Interesting hikes. A cooler place to go on hot days. Convenient parking. Helpful, professional staff.

It is FL so it's going to be hot and muggy. It just wasn't nice. It felt like the setting to a horror film. Either that or pothead heaven.

This seems to be a county park from what I could tell. The entry was well marked on a main road. The parking had some nice shade and there were restrooms nearby. There was a nice trail along an old canal and a historical marker indicating some of the history of the canal. The trail was very peaceful and tranquil... More

This is a well laid out bit of local wild lands. The education center is informative as expected. Take a walk and enjoy.
