Love this hidden forest. Great walking paths that are well cared for. Whether you are looking to take a quick walk with children or a 5k or something in between it is available for you here. Lots of places to explore. Many opportunities to see wildlife - tortoise is a main attraction. They often have classes and events as well.... More

If you are visiting Kennedy Space Center, a stop at the Enchanted Forest might be worth your time if you are a nature lover. (It is directly on the way into the space center if you are coming from the west, i.e. Titusville/Orlando) This is a Brevard County Park and entrance is free. There is a visitors center with rest... We found this place because of tripadvisor and we are glad we did. Unfortunately, we got their less than an hour before it closed. We still had a good appreciation for it. Luckily, we are not too far away so we will definitely be visiting this place again. It's a great place for a picnic and a walk with the... More

This 472-acre Forest is part of a sanctuary network in Brevard County, Florida. And, it is a "keeper"! Check in first at the wonderful Visitors Center to pick up a map and chat with the volunteers. The Forest is small enough that you can explore most of the trails within a couple of hours. There is a variety of forest... More

We stop here frequently just to wander on the trails and see some local birds and other critters. Lots of very easy trails to take and they are well maintained. This is Florida, take your mosquito repellent.

We just walked this day. It was warm and just after lunch. Lots of variety of eco systems. Interesting. If you hike in Florida this will be like a lot of those but a little more civilized. There are good trails. The center has education for everyone and events so check to see what is going on. Parking is free... More

We enjoyed the lovely walks & visitor center. Staff in the store were very helpful. We were delighted to see the coquina rocks & our walk really did seem like it was an enchanted forest. Trails were well marked and provided comfortable walking after my recent hip surgery. This was our last morning in the area and we needed to... More

This is a lovely easy hike to see Florida in its natural state. Got to see animal and snake tracks, turtles and frogs. Cute little inside area too.

The best time to visit is on a hot day because it is so cool in the forest it feels great. There are trails to walk & they have rocking chairs to just sit & take it all in. There is also indoors, where they have a little store & they show films about nature and again outside is a... More
