Fantastic views, great ambiance - it was a great place to gather with friends to watch the sunset - the martinis were great too!

Upon arriving in San Diego we met friends at the Top of the Hyatt. The 40th floor view is spectacular! The harbor was a light show - ships coming and going, the Midway just below, etc. The drinks were excellent and we can recommend the Pacific ahi tuna tartare and the meat and cheese board. The perfect introduction to beautiful... More

I didn't eat or have a drink because the prices were way too high for the experience. The view is very nice, but the environment of the lounge just isn't that amazing to stick around. I was surprised that it wasn't a little nicer. I actually hesitated to go up because I wasn't sure if there was a dress code... More

Nice, good people and great view. Truly overpriced though; I had a $20 drink and my wife had a $17 glass of wine. We wished we'd spent our money on more fun places.

Convenient location, right at the Boulevard! So sunny, so coastal! Full of lovely cool sea breeze! So close to the shops, tram lines, the sea... A great place to be!

Come for the view, it's worth it. It is as advertised! We didn't eat, only had drinks. The food that we saw come out did look appetizing so we will come back to try. Service was ok.

Spectacular views from every angle !! Easy to locate and nice comfortable upscale atmosphere. Waitress was friendly and gave excellent service! Great happy hour and I definitely found the best bloody Mary mix in San Diego! I travel to SD several times a year and will make it a point to stop here every visit from now on.

Go about 30 minutes before sunset and stay at least 30 minutes after sunset. During this hour, you will drink a delicious cocktail that some claim are pricey.....but hey, this is a classic cocktail bar with great service, views, and drink, so you get what you pay for. Prices would be normal in NYC. I found the service very attentive... More
