My husbands grandfather is buried here. We went together today & it was my first time. It's gorgeous, serene, peaceful & the grounds are meticulous. The staff that helped locate his Grandfathers burial site were so kind & helpful. Ft. Rosecrans does our fallen & passed military well. The coastline & breezes & views are incredible. We noticed the headstones... More

This is a very emotional time where you realize how many heroes gave their lives for us, it will give you goose bumps. When you see the amazing view it makes you happy they are laid to rest in a beautiful, serene place. After you have given your respect, remember life is short and continue to the lighthouse and tide... More

At first I elected not to save this in my trip itinerary and came across it on my way to the Cabrillo National Monument and I HAD to stop. It is unlike other military burial areas I have seen before. The way it covers the landscape in perfect alignment makes this memorial unlike others and sticks out in my mind.

We went on Memorial Day with a friend who had relatives who were buried there. It was a very moving experience and well worth the visit.

My father was intered here recently and the visit was very healing. Over memorial day weekend, it warmed my heart to see so many people there paying their respects. The graves are very well kept, as the soilders of yesterday look over the submarine yards - keeping a watch over some of our warriors of today.

A must see on the way to Cabrillo Monument. It is a military cemetary set overlooking the water What an amazing resting place. A great place to go and be thankful for the freedom that we all have. I was amazed at how each and every head stone was in alignment. Rows and rows of headstones. An absolutely serene, beautiful,... More

This is a beautiful and quiet place that just makes you stop and reflect on the sacrifices of those who gave all. Buried my grandfather here last year and the ceremony was beautiful. Was able to go back this past month and see his tombstone. I can't imagine a better resting place for him. This is definitely a must do... More

While it's difficult to write a review for a cemetery, this beautiful, memorable place took my breath away. My husband and I stumbled upon it by accident on the way to Cabrillo National Monument. It just happened to be Memorial Day and the service was just about to begin. We parked on the military base and took a shuttle to... More

An incredibly beautiful place, quiet and with views that are amazing. The monuments to the Navy and to all those buried there are just a great history lesson.

What a view and fantastic drive thru Pt. Loma. Tells the tale of what others have done for us by their sacrifices for our country and families.
