I frequently visit her as I have family buried here. I always recommend anyone visiting San Diego to also visit Cabrillo National Monument for the overall best view of San Diego. To get there, you pass through the cemetery with ocean views on one side and harbor/city views on the other.

What a beautiful place to put those who have fought for this country to rest. The view from both sides is amazing when you see so many headstones lined up perfectly it humbles you to think of the sacrifices of so many.

If pleasant and cemetery can be used in the same sentence, this is it. The view of the ocean and its natural air conditioning effect makes this cemetery a pleasant place to visit when honoring America's fallen heroes. Our soldiers and seamen fought and protected our nation so that we could have the freedom to live and prosper in a... More

Beautiful cemetery.... overwhelming to see all of the uniform tombstones and realize all of the men and women who sacrificed their lives for us and our freedom....hard to consider a cemetery beautiful, but with the ocean and bay as backdrops, it truly is.
