I was at a very large convention, 8000+ people. The rooms were very comfortable, staff very pleasant and helpful. Too often at conventions the sound systems are a problem, not so here. Overall beautiful setting right by Seaport Village.

Big convention center with plenty of space and several meeting/session rooms which you can take advantage of for splitting the event into different areas covering different topics. Also, the place is right next to the San Diego marina and the Gaslamp District, which makes it a nice place for networking over a nice meal or drinks.

Grand in every way. Overlooking the bay where the eye can wonder and see for miles. Plenty of open areas where you can sit and not only enjoy the many views, also enjoy what is described as the best weather city in America. Don't forget to bring your workout clothes because this place is great for an intense cardiac wake-up... More

Easy to access and great food/ cafeteria. The convention center is close to hotels, PetCo park and plenty of places to eat and have a drink. Advice: Take uber, a petty cab or lyft so as to avoid paying extra parking

I am a vendor. I was here for a dance show this previous weekend and the venue was really generous for the things venues usually charge for. Upon arrival the location that i was given wasn't quite the "hot spot"... I asked to be moved, they understood why and we were moved. Again, needing more electricity that planned... I wasn't... This is the first time at this facility-- i go to several cardiology meetings a year. They are repeatedly in Chicago (in Nov and March!) or New Orleans. Sometimes in Orlando or San Francisco, Washington DC, and once in Miami. San Diego was BY FAR, the best conference experience ever. Centrally located, not overly big, lots of hotels very close,... I first came to this place 23 years ago when it was new and I thought it was great. Now it is a little tired. I heard it will be remodeled or replaced soon and that is probably a good idea. While the location is great the facility's design makes it difficult to go between sessions at a convention and... More

Really enjoy each time I am in this facility. My group takes advantage of the light filled rooms and scenic terraces. The staff is friendly and bends over backwards to assist. The Food Service staff is great, and the food at this venue is wonderful. It is a Union shop, with the best union staff I have ever experienced as... More
