SD convention centre IS Comic-Con and vice-versa. I like the location on the waterfront and that trade shows spill out into the surrounding area and in this way the small size of the centre actually works in its favour.

What else can you say. Its a convention center. Not so large that you need to walk for miles to get from one end to the other, but large enough for good size shows.

Perhaps not "world class" but pretty neat, as convention centers go. Home of interesting get-togethers like Comic Con. The center's management deserves some credit for keeping up with growth. Parking can be a problem here, but take the trolley. It's cheap and fun.

San Diego's Convention Center anchors the bay side of downtown. It's worth visiting even if you aren't it town for a convention. It offers some good views of the bay.

Everything was good, you cannot go wring with the location of this conference center in the heart of one of the world's most beautiful cities; but it would be great if they had a chapel/quiet room.

Really nice convention center with great views inside and out. Very clean and probably the most unique convention center I've been to.

I have just attended SPIE 2015 at San Diego Convention Center and I must say, this is one of the best conference sites I ever visited. The staff is very friendly, the meeting rooms are large and good, the whole building feels bright and fresh.

Great venue for Comic Con! Some believe it is too small but it would be a shame if the con moved, it is a tradition now!

I recently attended some conference sessions at the San Diego Convention Center. Our conference had sessions at the Marriott, Grand Hyatt, Omni, and Convention Center. The convention center was clean, with quality meeting rooms. There were no major issues with it, but compared to the sessions at the Grand Hyatt, the Convention Center didn't measure up. For one, the coffee... More
