I had such a great time at Comic Con! Granted everything was overpriced as expected, I met some WONDERFUL people and some very friendly nerds like myself, granted lottery system worked for me, I had sat on my computer all day so thats the only reason why LOL I went to many panels including the Big Bang panel in Ballroom... It's a convention center on par with others I've been to. The reason for the average rating is the food quality...We went for Comic Con so were there all day. There are numerous locations to get food but they all serve the same terrible fare. For such a large event where people will be walking around all day you'd think... More

We know what we are in for when we go so all that is bad to others is a non-issue for us. The panels, the cosplay, the booths and the people are amazing. Yes it is very crowded and yes they tell us not to sit places but that is what to expect. Every year it is totally amazing.

Spacious enough to host a conference with more than 15 000 attendees. Close to the bay, it's an ideal place for conferences taking place in summer

Was there for the ComicCon preview night, my first time there since I can remember. Center itself is ok. Has good inside access, facilities, you name it. My issues are with the sidewalk at one end and access from/to the Gaslamp area. Sidewalk - For some insane reason designers decided to put large, concrete lighting fixtures in the middle of... More

During my stay in Riverside, LA, my friends suggested a short visit to San Diego. Since it was only two hours drive, we went there and enjoyed our trip.

The location can't be beat. Not only is it in San Diego, but near the water and Coronado bridge. It's also near the revitalized downtown, baseball park, and train depot. So if you bring your spouse n kids, they can use the lovely area hotels as a spring board to visit all area attractions. The convention staff is competent and... More

I recently attended for a conference, and the Convention Center is a pretty typical Convention Center. That said, there is no seating set up between rooms, so if you're early for a session or have time to kill between sessions you're on your own.

I attended NAFSA 2014 conferences in San Diego. The venue is only 2 minutes away from Gaslamp Area where there are over 150 restaurants

Was recently here for a medical conference lasting 5 days. The view from the outside was awesome and pleasing to the eye. The rooms, auditorium and exhibit halls were well laid out. There was food and coffee outlets available at convenient points. Overall a really good convention center.
