visited the car show at the convention center. Sat in and learned more about cars of my dreams. Especially like how smoothly the event was run; easy access, fast lines, nice concession stands. Just fun!

I like this convention center for a few reasons. First, it is in San Diego! Than means one can venture outside for a break, short walk, or conference refreshment break. The rooms are nice and technology friendly. And it is convenient to everything; airport, hotels, activities, restaurants, ballpark and outdoor space. It is a BIG center though.

Located on the bay, this convention center has a unique design simulating waves breaking on the shore. Very interesting. The rooms were nice and not too cold. Only drawback, there were no vending machines for refreshments though the conference supplied some.

Like most convention centers this one is hugeseveral city blocks long and can accomodate almost any type of convention or exhibit but the size makes it immpossible to walk from one end to the other. For some reason, distances travelled are never short. Food is only passable.

A very convenient center but very big. Build in a 5-10 minute commute time if you are there for a conference. It may take that long to walk from one session meeting room to another.

this is a huge venue, endless walking to get to sessions. Too warm for my taste, I was often sweating in the meeting rooms. Catered lunches were very expensive and a rip-off. For example a $30 box lunch consisted of a sandwich, potato chips, an apple a cookie and a soda. Gimme a break! I will probably pass on any... More

It has been three years since I've been in downtown San Diego and it was wonderful to visit and see the results of all those years of construction completed. The Convention Center looks good and comfortable with easy parking, surrounded by lots of eating places.

Attended our annual conference here and was generally quite pleased. The only criticism I have is also a compliment, they can obviously handle pretty much any size of crowd and I understand they are planning a significant expansion. I just hope they put in a moving sidewalk, I had some long walks inside there! Space was very clean, very bright... More

I attended the San Diego Quilt Show in September - fortunately it was in Hall A, closest to parking and the trolley stop. The building is enormous, so if you get off the trolley at Gaslamp instead of Convention Center, you have a loooonng walk back to the other end.
