I highly recommend a $9.00 tour of the park. Discover "writer's row" in the press box, learn about the historic Western Metal Supply Co. Building and explore the Padres dugout and much more on a approx 2 hour tour. Of course if you have tickets to a game this a fabouls park to watch a game in!! more

We recently got back from our annual trip to Petco Park to see the St. Louis Cardinals vs. Padres. Again, we enjoyed our baseball experience. Our son is getting older, so he didn't go to the children's mini-field to go play ball as he always had in the past. When he was younger, we would have to take turns taking... more

I have been to several big league parks around the country (also several football stadiums). By far this park has the worst sight lines. We purchased bleacher seats with an obstructed view - OBSTRUCTED?! You couldn't even see what was happening on the field. We did move to right field seats which were better but still the sight lines were... more

Looking at Petco from the outside of the stadium, my first thoughts were how massive the park looked. The Stadium rises over the Gas Lamp District and looks humongous. I walked around the perimeter of the park, making sure to check out the kids field, and the recreation park featuring the statue of Tony Gwynn behind the Center Field Fence.... more

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed this tour. We got to see the Sony Club, Press Box, dugouts, walk on warning track, visitor's lockeroom and the very unique Western Metal Supply Building. This was one of our favorite stops in San Diego. We stayed next door at the Omni hotel (excellent!) which is attached to PetCo and contains tons of... more

There is nothing too special about this park. It has a setting in downtown San Diego. There is stuff to do around nearby, but the park itself is not that impressive. It's definitely not a must-see park. There is a lawn area that people can sit in that is a little interesting. Sometimes when you are walking the perimeter of... more

This facility is used for the San Diego Padres, the local professional baseball team. Unless you're there to see a baseball game, there isn't much to see or do. If you're there for a game, then expect to pay a lot for food, drinks, and your seats. Be careful about selecting your seats in the quirky, but new stadium. Some... more

I have been to many MLB ballparks and Petco Park is a unique experience. It is new and shiny and more expensive than most. I went to four games in a week's time. The first was with my sister's family and we made sure we packed food and drink bring with us. Vendor prices are among the highest I've experienced.... more

I was in LA for a wedding and since I hate LA, I decided to drive down to SD as soon as I landed at LAX. It took me about 3 hours to drive down and that includes stopping for lunch in Oceanside. I ended up relying on the Padres website to find parking and it ended up costing me... more

Anyone who ever attended a Padres game at Qualcomm stadium and then one at Petco Park knows there is no comparison. Qualcomm had a ton of parking and that is the only thing it has on the new park. Take the trolley and don't worry about parking. Every seat has a good view, they are all close enough to see... more
