Perfect venue to watch a Major League Baseball game. Food is very tasty. Cold brews of all kinds. Reasonably priced if you're a season ticket holder. Otherwise, your usual stadium priced food. Quality of food is worth the price. Ballpark is quite clean. If you didn't like the experience, your team was probably on the downhill side of a victory.

Went to 2 games and loved the atmosphere at Petco Park! The Padres may have lost the game but we won with the food, fun and fireworks!

The stadium is very cool as it reminds me of a minor league park, not a major league venue. The staff and food choices are great. Sight lines are great along the 3rd base lines.. Food choices in the ballpark and the seats had very good sight lines. We are there just after Labor Day and brought a light jacket... More

One of THE nicest parks in baseball. If only Wrigley Field was more like this. Gourmet grocery store INSIDE the park? Park in the Park for kids with sandlot! San Diego did this right. VERY impressed

We saw 4 games here while visiting San Diego. The staff was very friendly and the Padres fans are laid back! We took the ballpark tour one morning and it was great. Cheryl, our guide, did an excellent job of providing the history of the ballpark and the Padres while showing us the seldom seen behind the scenes areas. I... More

Petco Park is an extremely accessible park to visit. We parked about 30 yards from the main gate in a parking structure (it was next to the Tilted Kilt). We arrived about a half hour late for the game, and we were surprised to find parking that close! It was $25 on Saturday night -- and when we went back... More

Maybe if the Padres were a better ball team, it would have been a better experience. We were there Sept 4, and the announced attendance was just over 16,000 but from looking around it appeared to be closer to 6,000. It was a bit sad that there were so many empty seats even right in the lower sections. Typical ball... More

The park was built around an existing building. Lots and lots of character - tons of great food selections to choose from. We had pork nachos from one of the stands - I hate that I don't remember the name but something that had "Taco" in the name. Aside from a Padres loss - we had a great time!

It is one of the "newer" ballparks and I would say that get cheap tickets and move down, there park was not full the day we went, but bring your own bottle for water, they do check before you enter, but they let the empty bottle go through. It can get a little windy in the evening so try to... More

The stadium is nice but has an odd assortment of motifs. One corner of the stadium does a lovely job of capturing the old by including an old brick warehouse in the park. However the style of the rest of the park doesn't really support that motif at all. Food choices in the ballpark and the seats had very good... More
