A really pretty ballpark. The bougainvillea all around was gorgeous! Very well kept. I still like Coors Field a little better and Camden Yards the best of what I've been to but this is right up there. I'll be back.

Our tour guide aka navigator was awesome and made the trip fun and interesting. He knows a lot about the park and the padres history. We were able to see most areas of the park. Being a big baseball fan helps and that certainly my wife and I. It was only twelve bucks and the tour lasted for an hour... More

Great park and informative tour. Located next to the Gaslamp district so makes for a great part of your day when visiting the area.

I have been to a Padre's game and to the MacCartney Concert, which was one of the best I've bee to. The smaller size is perfect for baseball games and concerts.

You cannot beat the ambiance and friendliness of this ball park! The best part is that it is walking distance from the Gas Lamp district. Love that the ushers actually keep people from walking down the aisle while a batter is active in the box....... sure makes it nice not to have to miss any pitches or swings. Good food... More

I've been to 14 MLB parks, and I have to say that this is absolutely one of the better of the so-called "new parks," i.e., those built in the last 20 years or so but meant to replicate the feelings of older ballparks (Camden Yards having been the first of these). Tickets were obviously not hard to come by when... More

The Petco Park is well done and lots of good places to eat while watching a ball game. However, there are just too many rules and regulations that take a lot of the fun out of it. For all of you that do not smoke (I do not) however, when we go with people that do they have to leave... More

Petco Park is a beautiful ballpark. It's in the heart of downtown. You can walk around before or after the game. Tickets are relatively cheap...especially if you go to the lawn. Wherever your seat is, there is delicious food not far away. But the best thing about going to a Padre game has less to do with the ballpark. During... More
