I recently went to see Sir Paul in concert this past Sunday and even though he was fantastic what I did notice is all the vending machines were blocked by someone selling items and you could not even get to the machines to use them.. I am sure if I could have purchased some water for my friend and myself,... More

Great venue for a terrific concert! Initially, access was difficult- there was some issue with gates on one side of the building, but we walked around to another entrance and walked quickly to our floor seats. it's huge! and spectacular when filled with people and music.

Food quality is still evolving but has risen above the mediocre. Grilled tuna and shrimp salad are my fall back items. Skip the counter sausage and grab a BBQ pork or beef from Phil's or a burger from Hodad's.

Buy a cheap ticket and watch the game from the left field bar and pub. Love these downtown open-air parks!

Recently took in a Padre vs Giant game on a trip from Minnesota. Having Target Field in Mpls. has made me somewhat spoiled (however I did take in about 300 lifetime games at the Metrodome, so I know both sides of the stadium equation), but this stadium is also phenomenal! The atmosphere is unlike any other baseball park I have... More

We went to the McCartney concert here, and having been to ball games, I was a little leery of it as a concert venue. But really, the acoustics were good, the amenities such as the beer stands, food venders and plentiful restrooms were better than most concert arenas. It was a little chilly once the sun went down, we had... More

Very nice stadium. We stayed close to the park and in Gaslamp Quarter. The area was nice and the stadium staff was very friendly and the fans really got behind their team.

Parking is bad, but the games are well lit, seats are comfy, and you can enjoy Phil's BBQ while there! Hodad's too. Great place to visit, great for the family as well.

This is a beautiful ballpark in the heart of San Diego. The park is 10 years old but still seems brand new. Not a bad seat in the house. The food and beverage options were also great with tons of local brews and good BBQ. A great way to spend a night while in San Diego.

I live just a few blocks away from this terrific, modern, downtown ballpark, which is located in the Gaslamp area of downtown San Diego. It is fun to be able to walk to the ballpark and see the Padres or other events. (Tonight there is a Paul McCartney concert.) On game days, there are a lot of sports fans milling... More
