Nice long walk.

Lots of tourists and beautiful scenery. Started from the Convention Center and walked from Sea Port Village all the way to the Star of India.

Watch the people walking, running, walking the dog, or just hanging out. The entire walk was very entertaining.

I like the fact that we could walk along the beach to all of the sights and have dinner without having to drive. We felt really safe, and had lots of fun while walking, shopping and enjoying the sights!

This is a really nice place to walk! Plenty of really nice places to eat! Shops, and incredible views of the bay! There are some pretty good ships and boats that you'll get to see coming in through the bay!

So much to take in as you walk. Gardens with plants labeled. Beautiful yachts. Military vessels. Commercial ships coming and going. Coast guard and Navy 'copters overhead. Folks exercising, flying kites, or having fun with pets, or a picnic with family.

After the maritime museum we took a bike cab down the boardwalk to the Seafood Restaurant. The bike guy gave us a guided tour that was full of fun facts we never would have heard otherwise. We loved seeing the city and ran into all sorts of fun stuff to do.

We walked about 16 miles overall from the Ramada Airport Inn to Gas Lamp district and side trips. It was great! We saw a lot on foot. It's flat with decent sidewalks and lots to see.

Two things we are sure to do each time we visit San Diego, First, a stroll of the Sea Port Village area with its interesting shops and several choices of restaurants and coffee shops, and the second is the zoo. It had been three years since our last visit to the Sea Port Village, and there had been some changes,... More

I was not able to go this trip due to illness, but it is one of my favorite places to go in San Diego.
