The last three days have been some of the best surf and Sunsets in along time, I'm so blessed to have grown up here but to own a home here. Whether I'm watching the Sunset or walking my dogs down for a surf check, I'm still blown away with the view just as much as a tourist from Ohio! People... More

One of the most amazing sunsets we have seen. OK, most people that go for beautiful sunsets don't plan to spend their time here updating their facebook status. The reason I note the lack of internet was that we got here through Uber and would have been stuck had we not asked our driver to wait for us!

I had a lot of anxiety over this location because of kids. The spot we picked to watch the sunset had no barrier and an incredible drop over the edge of the cliffs. The sunset was breathtaking but you MUST watch your kids.

This was 100x better than I expected. The water crashing on the rocks was beautiful. It was a little crowded, but still plenty of room for everyone. I took over 100 pictures, as the sunset changed every few minutes. Totally worth your time to watch the sunset here! Beautiful!

It's a must go place if you visit San Diego. We got there just right before the sunset and it was already a lot of people. I would recommend to get there earlier to get a parking spot. There are rocks that you can sit and relax and enjoy the amazing view. It was really breathtaking. Perfect place to end... More

The sunset cliffs is a bit rocky so sneakers maybe a good idea. There are huge rocks where you can go & sit, just listening to the waves crash, the smell of the sea and the sunset is the best part. Parking is very limited so it is recommended you go quite some time before the sunset to get the... More

This was just a breathtaking view worth all the effort of trying to drive through to find it and climbing about some at times scary sections. Even on a cloudy day, we were both completely in awe of the beauty and would come here every evening if I could.

Don your walking shoes and go to Sunset Cliffs. My teenagers enjoyed checking out the rock formations and tide pools. Whether you want to walk (or jog) on the path next to the beach, scramble down the rocks to get closer to the crashing waves, or sit on a bench, I think this place is worth a visit. We actually... Our daughter who is living in San Diego suggested going here and we arrived about 20 minutes before sunset. Parking was a bit tight but it wasn't crowded along the cliffs. Watching the silhouettes of the sailboats with the setting sun was spectacular.

Great getaway from Los Angeles The botanical gardens are awesome too. There is a place called Seaport Village where you can ride these bikes with music and lights. You are riding through the harbor its a beautiful experience. I absolutely loved it.
