Don't miss this beautiful park. Really welcoming, picturesque place. Such amazing views and great photography opportunities. We were able to see the water all stirred up from an offshore hurricane hitting against the cliffs. Gorgeous.

They day we were at Sunset Cliffs there was a storm in San Diego which made for even prettier views of the ocean.

After a beautiful sunny day , we drove to Sunset Cliffs . The drive alone was worth it, we drove through a nice neighborhood full of architecturally interesting houses , one more beautiful and unique than the other. The sunset here will blow your mind. The orange glare, the cliffs, the people watching , that amber lighting taking over the... More

Went there to watch sunset & take pics. Was a great place to go. Pretty easy to find parking. Really a neighborhood with some pull-out areas along the coastal drop-off. If parking areas are full, find a spot on a side street and walk down. The day we were there it was a cloudless beautiful day. Was fun to also... More

Sunset Cliffs is exiting and breathtaking. Explore, find that hidden spot or get crazy and jump off the cliffs at high tide. But be careful! There are many horror stories to accompany the great ones. Watch your step and enjoy.

I stop here when I get to San Diego and right before I leave. I love coming here just to clear my head. Great place to just relax. In the evening, at Sunset, it is awesome watching high tide crash against the cliffs. But during the day, it's just very relaxing.

Easy to take public transit out here if you go early enough. Narrow path along the top of the cliffs and you can walk down very far out onto some. There is one spot where people dive off into the big waves. Perfect sunset views, plan to get wet if you sit all the way forward on some cliffs and... More

Sunset Cliffs to me is typical California as you've seen in magazines and on TV. Beautiful cliffs. There were many young people on one cliff jumping and diving. Quite an entertaining spectacle, although against the law to jump. I wish we had a chair to just sit down where the waves came crashing in. Definitely worth seeing and in San... More

Lots of easy access points to park and stunning views. You can walk alot of the cliffs and even climb down to see the erosion up close and personal.

This is the best sunset I've seen on the west coast in the 14 years I've lived in the USA. Absolutely beautiful! Watch the edge, it's a steep cliff and long way down, also the waves can crash up onto the rocks, so be careful! Simply stunning and absolutely breathtaking!
