We did not do a tour with them but rented bikes for half a day. The guys were really helpful and so easy to deal with. They gave us some good advice and booked bikes on a basis that suited us ideally. The bikes were good, easy to use but had the brake system you peddle backwards to use rather... More

I rented a carbon bike from The Bike Revolution for the Bike the Bay - Bike the Bridge event. It was a nice Giant TCR with 105 components. The super cool store guys made sure the fit was right, and I was on my way. Before and after the event ride, they allowed me to switch to a cruiser and... More

We rented bikes from Bike Revolution in a painless, hassle-free process. Sign a waiver, pick out a helmet, the staff helps you adjust the bike to your size, and off you go. We were interested in heading out and around San Diego (mostly up and around Balboa Park) for the day, and this was a perfect half-day trip. Locks and... More

We didn't get the tour, but my girlfriend and I are avid cyclists and wanted comfortable and efficient bikes to get around and between San Diego and La Jolla for the week. We chose The Bike Revolution based mostly on cost and location, as well as their website which boasted "The best rental fleet in San Diego". While the bikes... More

On Monday I booked 2 bikes for Thursday afternoon and evening. Because they already close at 5pm I was charged the full two days, which is already ridiculous by itself. On Wednesday my travelling companion got sick and we had to change our travel plans and leave San Diego early, so I wrote them an email (thats how they had... More

Visited in February to rent a couple of mountain bikes for some local riding while in San Diego for a business trip. Spoke to the shop on the phone before coming to SD. Staff were helpful and friendly. Gave us plenty of info about bike options, sizes, prices, store hours and local places to ride. When we arrived, the bikes... More

We did the Cabrillo Monument tour. Ten miles up after going around the harbor. It was not easy but do-able. Amazing view! Came back down and cruised around the harbor and marina area. Matt was our guide and he was great!

I hired a carbon Bianchi with Shimano 105 groupset for the week while staying at the Omni hotel. They provided the SPD-SL pedals, helmet and toolkit and happily fitted my own saddle. I had brought a map of the measurements on my own bike so setting up was a snap; after comparing my Cannondale's geometry to the Bianchi's online. The... More

I was staying at the Omni San Diego and rented an Aluminum Frame Road Bike from The Bike Revolution at 522 Sixth Avenue. They took my reservation over the phone and set the bike up as I walked over to the store. Using their map I picked up the harbor front trail near the Convention Center and rode up the... More
