My spouse and I wanted to do something that would be different on New Year's Eve and this seemed like an interesting event. As advertised there was a pre-show buffet and the food was very tasty but limited. We should have had dinner at about 5:00 pm and then would have enjoyed the buffet more. Considering that this is a... More

I took my 17-year-old son here after a co-worker recommended it. It was a lot of fun to watch the troupe improvise their way through a variety of games. I bought the tickets to the Sunday show with my son in mind, but I found I was laughing he loudest in the room. Great for all ages! We did have... More

All of the show's dialogue and antics are made up on the fly by the performers. It's impressive how creative and quick they are. There is a 10-minute intermission with concessions available. The shows are open-seating, and there isn't a bad seat in the house. It's best to make reservations online in advance - we attended the 7:30 PM show... More

Nice, but... I walked about 1.8 miles to get to the show, which may have colored my impression... I was mildly amused, the guy behind me thought it was the funniest stuff he had ever heard... Most I think agreed with me... The price is cheap enough, but I think I'll stick with a routine that someone has put some... More

So much fun. The NCT is in a small theater near the Shakespeare Pub, so it may be tough to find for newbies, but it's worth the trek. The teams are talented, and the games are fun. The seating is limited, so you always feel like you're part of the show, engaged, and it's a nice communal experience sharing laughter... More

If you like the TV show, this is even better! Taking ideas from the audience, six comedic actors play a game to out-do each other with improv comedy. Each show is different, and totally dependent on the suggestions taken from the audience. If you don't give them good material, it's not their fault. My face hurt at the end of... More

This troupe performs different show styles on certain nights using different groups of actors. The hour-long Sunday show is entirely improv, based on prompts from the audience. A small but vocal crowd, many of whom were repeat visitors, kept the suggestions varied. One of my favorite improv set-ups, the party game, was a highlight of the night, as was the... More

The National Comedy Theatre is a top notch improvisational comedy group. I have been a few times and their level of skill is always impressive. I didn't know the human body was capable of laughing for two hours straight!

The comedy is game style, similar to whose line is it anyways. The actors/players/comedians were amazing. My wife and I had a blast and are already planning to go back. There is a small concessions area that sells bottles beer, popcorn, candy and a few other things. Prices are reasonable for everything and being able to have a couple beers... More

Went to the Sunday night show, which was interactive and fun. Some skits are hilarious, others less so, although our audience was a bit spacey, so that didn't help the players. Overall, great value for the cost of the tickets, a lot of fun. The theatre also offers classes on weekends. We will try this again when in San Diego.
