This is one of the best ways to see San Diego. We did a complete circle in the morning to get an idea what stops we might like to do on the hop on- hop off tour. (about 2 hrs) Then we toured oldtown for an hour before we got on another trolley to take us down to the seaport... More

As newcomers to San Diego we decided to take the tour so we could get an overview of what was where. It turned out that we could catch the Old Town Trolley Tour right behind our hotel near Seaport Village; You have 2 options; the small trolley or the bigger amphibious trolley that goes in the water. We took the... More

Taking the tour was a learning and fun experience. Our tour guide, Ponch, made it fun and an enjoyable two hours. The history of San Diego was presented with enthusiasm and lots of excitement. I would take the tour again; we had a great time!

We are big fans of the hop on-hop off type tours and this one seemed just right for us. Our guide Richard was energetic, funny, and enthusiastic about his home town. We learned a lot about the city and some of its history, and were able to get a quick glimpse of some of the attractions (such as the Hotel... More

This was a narrated hop on/hop off tour. Trolley drivers were safe and very informative. We hopped off at Coronado and visited the hotel and beach. This is a great way to view the city and decide which parts you want to go back to and visit in more detail.

Stopping in all the popular places every half hour with on and off privileges on an old time trolly driven by an experienced and knowledgeable driver who narrates the trip is WELL worth the price of the tickets. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to get to know and see the city.

We went on the trolley tour to get an idea of the attractions we might be interested in seeing in our 5 days in the area. It was fun and informative and we highly recommend it. You can get on and off at the various stops for as long as you like, then just catch the next trolley that comes... More

It was a rainy day when I arrived and this tour made it much easier to see the city when walking would not have been enjoyable. The stops were interesting and the guides very informative. I always try to take a tour of a city to get the "lay of the land" before I go off and wander and this... More

I like doing trolley tours in new cities I visit, as it is the most economical way to see everything. Buy your ticket in advance...can do online or tele. and it is a little bit cheaper. I felt that most of the representatives at the stops were a bit rude and felt put out to have to give directions on... More

The trolley is a bus really, partly open air, which was fine. It really is a hop on and off deal to the major sites. There was some interesting information and some cornball jokes. Partly it was poor planning on our part. We started later in the afternoon and they end early.. around 4:45 I believe. It is expensive for... More

I was sorry to read about your experience with our tour. As you mentioned by starting so late in the day you are limited to the number of places you can get off at and explore. That being said, we want everyone to enjoy our tour and the amazing city of San Diego, so we back all of our tours... More
