This beach is a little known gem. Super beautiful and natural. Bring a picnic. If you go early enough, park on the side of the road. If later, enter the park, pay the fee in the parking lot. Really natural beautiful beach.

Drive to the visitors centre if you only a short time and walk the cliff for that views of the coast. Informative visitors centre with helpful attendants who really show enthusiasm for the reserve.

Someone wrote this may be the best trail ever...that is a little stretch, but it's beauty and diversity are undeniable. $10 parking fee or drive just past the parking lot and there is a long stretch of parking facing the ocean for free. You are able to walk in the park. On the Fleming trail was able to easily see... More

$10 to park is too much but the trails and views were very nice. Probably would be very hot in summer since there are not shade trees.

My husband, and two children (8 & 6) had a lot of fun walking the trails and walking down by the beach.

excellent maintained trails with stunning views. it wasn't clear that you can drive from the bottom, after being told to pay with card I had to use the machine in the carpark - which left me confused as to whether that was the only carpark. after walking up to the trail, I soon discovered it wasn't :) that aside, an... Torrey Pines State Reserve is beautiful. If you want to have a peaceful and beautiful day, go here. The beach is lovely, the whole facility is amazing. Didn't make it to the children's area, but I will try it next time!!!

The views from the tops of the cliffs were incredible. Love the walk. Would highly recommend this as an afternoon stop. Beautiful.

We parked at the bottom lot and hiked to the top near the golf course. From there you could see an awesome view of the cliffs and beach. We walked the beach back and then took a swim - the water is cold! There is an outside shower and restrooms.

After walking the city all day, we decided on a whim to check it out. Parked literally .5 mile away at the beach, not knowing that we could have parked right at the reserve & actually driven up it. We're avid hikers, but would have driven up in order to walk more of trails at the top! FANTASTIC VIEWS. Saw... More
