We went in early may so it was a bit cold but it was one of my kids first time that he could remeber going to the beach. They loved it. The beach was a bit dirty but I am sure that during the summer it is taken care of more. Not a bad beach.

This is a nice larger campsite where the ocean is your backyard. Went here on a Monday, and the campground was basically empty.....won't be the case after Memorial Day but it sure was a nice evening out with friends. Site 52 is a great spot!

Well maintained and in good location. Try the fish restaurant located at the entrance to the beach then head one block south for a great frozen yogurt.

One of the best beaches in San Diego area, clean, never too crowded like ones in San Diego itself, quiet, very nice. It actually stratches all the way from Torrey Pines almost to Oceanside Pier, so if you feel adventurous, you can take a long walk from La Jolla to Oceanside.

If you love to walk on the beach this is for you. Plenty of room for the kids to play. The sand was clean and the facilities too.

The rv park would be awesome if there were hookups, can not believe that with power running along the road next to it, that there could be no power.
