We had some friends in town and decided to go on the La Jolla bites tour which I booked a few months ago. We were met by David at the Ohana restaurant. We enjoyed some bites there and moved on to other locations. Along the walk David would stop and give us information about various buildings and history of La... More

Just did Hillcrest Bite this weekend and it was fabulous. So much food - more than other Bites I have been on. We started off with Jimmy Carter's and ended with Harvey Milk's. I will definitely go to all of them again since I live in San Diego. And Dani our tour guide was so giving - she was nice,... More

We were on a girls trip and decided to go on the San Diego tour....This was our first adventure there. Eddie was amazing and his story telling was very intersting and fun. I would recommend that if you need a quick history lesson about San Diego and some great tastings, you MUST do this tour.

We went to San Diego for our annual girls' trip and what a pleasant surprise. This was a great way to meet new people, learn the history of the city, and experience great food. Eddie was an awesome guide and kept us entertained. I would suggest this type of tour for anyone that loves to sample foods and learn a... More

We did the La Jolla bites tour. We've had two non memorable tours in the San Diego area so we were interested to see whether this one was any better and it was. David was our guide and he was courteous and helpful from beginning to end. The selection of restaurants was quite good and we got a little information... More

I took the Hillcrest tour this past weekend and really enjoyed trying some new places. If you have any dietary restrictions, you might want to talk with Bite just to make sure you'd have something to eat. The Hillcrest tour was great - a bit heavy on the carbs as most of the offerings were appetizers or desserts. I'm not... More

Went on the downtown San Diego bite San Diego your today... Second time I've gone. Stopped for Indian food, pizza, fries, Nutella dessert pizza and at a chocolatier. All the food was great except our third stop, they gave us corn bread and fries... It was just ok. Tour guide was Eddie, he was very entertaining and had lots of... More

What a great idea to do this. Not only did I get to try restaurants I normally wouldn't eat at but I also got to learn about the history as well. The setting is intimate, but without being overbearing, and eating casually with others is a great way to break the ice in a group. Our tour guide David was... More

Went on the Bite of La Jolla tour with David on Saturday, August 2nd 2014. Had a great time and tried some really good food. A couple of the restaurants had actually won awards for this year. The apple pancake at Richard Walker's was awesome! Having Richard Walker actually come out and greet us was even better! Nosh was good... More
