Happened upon Sail San Diego by chance. Glad we did! Met the owner before we began our tour (that's unique, right?) and had a great captain (Kevin Rickon). The boat - very clean, everything was in order, and there were complimentary drinks and snacks to keep us sated. Blankets, sunscreen, and other accessories we may have missed were provided if... I can't say enough great things about Sail SanDiego!!! If you ever come to this city, this is a must do!!! Captain Dave took us out the bay past Point Loma and out into the Pacific for a beautiful sail!!!! We saw sea lions, and dolphins. We could take our turn at the helm. And they provided drinks and snacks😍

Four of us went sailing in the afternoon and early evening. It was a wonderful trip with plenty of scenery to see and photograph. Almost every buoy had sea lions resting on them. There was frequent traffic from military helicopters and Navy Seal boats that was interesting . Lots of ocean-going vessels. Plenty of wildlife. The expedition served snacks and beverages,... More

Art was our captain. Ask for him. He was friendly from the first handshake. He was humorous and entertaining and skilled and knowledgeable. He pointed out all the landmarks (he knew them all) and gave us a primer in sailing during the cruise. We talked about family, events, places we knew in common, other sailing ships. This made for a... More

Great day of sailing with Captain Mike. He was so good that he even arranged for the weather to clear and provided perfect wind for a true sailing adventure. Highlight was getting to drive the boat for half an hour including a few maneuvers around the local races going on. Congrats Sail San Diego on providing a first class adventure... More

Captain Art did a great job of sailing. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable day with two families visiting from Northern California. He is also very knowledgeable about sights in the harbor and along the Coronado shore.

My husband and I took the 3 hour day sail with Captain Kevin. The boat was extremely clean and well set up for guests with a selection of sodas, beer, wine and snacks. Kevin was friendly, easygoing and provided tons of interesting information about the surrounding area. Although we live and sail on San Francisco Bay, we love the warm... More
