With over 23 years of experience and thousands of happy clients, our crew works diligently to insure each 3 hour Sail is a perfect one for all! Whether it's for an intimate sail for 2,a corporate event, sailing lessons with a few friends,a family whale watching experience, or a most memorable celebration at sea. Do love doing private parties, proposals, anniversaries, birthdays or a romantic sunset sail. All or sails come with a Captain, complementary Wine, Beer, Sodas, & snacks. Do as much of the steering/sail trimming as you want or sit back and enjoy a glass of wine on the bow. Our boats were purchased with YOU in mind. Not an old "classic" boat we decided to charter. The cockpit is where you will spend much of your sail and it's roomy enough for 12 people. we have 4 boats in our fleet all the same. We can't wait to take you for you next San Diego adventure. « less

All kinds of wonderful sites out on the Bay and heading into the wide open ocean...can't wait to go again, and someday for an extended stay aboard! We saw sea lions galore, interesting and rare planes and Military craft flying over, Point Loma and the famous lighthouse, and we even docked at a fun local restaurant on the water to... More

We just got lucky I guess! Two adults, two children (11 and 13) on a 3 hour sailboat ride - heavenly! Made even more so by such a great Captain - Greg Tupaj - he was funny and very good with children. Thank you Greg!

Captain John was great. It was a beautiful day with nice wind. The boat was clean and obviously well maintained. Was worth the cost.

We just spent a week's vacation in San Diego and doing the day trip with Sail San Diego was the highlight of the week. The boat was gorgeous-large, spacious and luxurious. There were only 6 people total on our cruise and Captain Greg was funny, kind and very helpful. We saw a mother and baby whale off in the distance... More

Our trip with Greg was great ! The boat was beautiful and both kids learned a bit about sailing while my husband and I just relaxed and enjoyed the ride. The warm snuggies kept us from being too chilly and my son loved the snacks. The weather was perfect sailing weather and we would absolutely recommend it as a top... More

I had to travel to San Diego for a work conference. I am so thankful we got there early and made time to do a 3 hr sail with Capt Curt! Even though we didn't see whales, the dolphins got up close and personal with us, and we sailed past the USS Ronald Reagan coming back to port. Such a... More

... choosing Sail San Diego for an interesting and relaxing sailing experience. Our 40' boat was beautifully kept with a nice cabin space, drinks, snacks, extra clothing, sunglasses, etc.. We took the 3 hour sail which was just about a perfect amount of time. Lots of interesting marina sights leaving and coming, plenty of dolphin activity to see (and swimming... More

We took a tour of San Diego Bay with Captain Greg Tupaj of Sail San Diego. It was a lovely three hour trip with his expert handling of the beautiful 40' sailboat and knowledgeable narration about the sights. We just sat and enjoyed. Beer, wine, soft drinks and snack were part of the package. Trips outside the Bay are also... More
