Took my company on a fishing trip aboard the Dominator for the second time. This was now the second time that we were promised to have the owner be our captain and as usual he had someone else run the ship. We were after blue fin tuna and the past reports had been stellar. We ended up only catching 3... More

What can I say? The fish count for a 3/4 day trip was almost 400 tuna 46 Dorado and 28 Yellowtail! Of the almost 400 tuna (380+), 230+ were yellowfin!! It took 3 crew members 6 hours straight to clean all the fish and there were 50 + that people chose to not have cleaned. The captain and crew were... More

2.5 day trip, 8/28-8/30. I have enough fish to hold me a year. Crew are SAINTS in disguise, fishing can be mob mentality, they handled it well for the most part. Thank you guys , and the Captain who found the fish.

Great boat, far above average crew! I'll go with them anytime! App wants more! What more than "I'll go with them again! " Larry W.

First time on the Freelance! Arrived at dock at 4:30 the boat left the harbor at 6AM! The old man Jon was a the only deck hand who was working. A young guy was his helper, but literally smoked five cigarettes every ten minutes, and was not much help besides yelling at us saying we need to spot kelp patties... More

Crew was not very responsive to passangers. Captin was rude and yelled at some on the boat about there fishing. At one stop the bite quit and the only ones fishing were his crew throwing gigs off the bow and talking about there gear. We all waited for one hour while we drifted with no fish. The captin really did... More

My wife and I have done a few large fishing charters in Florida and California and this trip was by far the worst. They allow experienced fishing people on board and cater to them as opposed to the tourists who just want to catch a few fish. Therefore, they were very unhelpful to the novice fisherman such as us. There... More

Had a fantastic time on an Old Glory overnight trip targeting Dorado. The service from the crew and Captain was exceptional. I have never been on an open party boat where the crew was so helpful and friendly. As someone who only fishes occasionally their assistance and encouraging manner contributed greatly to my experience. Besides catching fish I learned a... More

The captain and crew of the Malahini put out more effort and commitment to catch fish than I've ever experienced before. They stay out late, rotated people that didn't catch fish into the trolling rotation, and even got better bait from another boat.
