We had an amazing time! Very knowledgeable. We saw a lot of whales. The captain was funny and friendly. He took us to where the action was. We followed the different groups of whales so that we saw as much as possible. He didn't keep us in one spot longer than necessary. It was suppose to be a three hour... More

This trip was supposed to last three hours but was extended to 4.5 because we were chasing a pod of whales. Interesting experience with a great crew but was a little too long. Lots of kids on board who were getting restless by the end. It was amazing to see these beautiful creatures so close. Several even swam under our... More

First, the Captain did a good job putting us over fish. I caught a few nice sized groupers and ended the day with a good catch. But, fishing and politics don't mix. The trip, for me, began with the husband of one of the deck hands calling President Obama "a communist ni66er." (his words, not mine - this site won't... More

This was our first trip and experience with deep sea fishing and it turned out great we caught slot fish and got a few stolen from a hungry sea lion. Well worth it

A three-hour boat trip to watch California grey whales in their migration south from Alaska. Captain was very knowledgeable, giving interesting information about the whales. For example, he knew they would re-surface every 6 minutes, counted down between breaching, and sure enough, here they came! Boat was immaculate, with clean restrooms, plenty of seats, and lots of room in the... More

We went on an afternoon trip with this company in January. We did get to see some tails and sprays. The boat is good sized and the staff was great. They offer food and drinks for the trip. I definitely recommend taking layers because it was warm when we left and freezing on the way back. The trip was very... More

I organized a large group of Girl Scouts and parents for a morning cruise to see the whales. The weather was perfect and the crew was friendly and helpful. We were lucky to be able to see about 12 different gray whales (including 8 in one large group) and, excitingly, a humpback who breached multiple times! The adults appreciated the... More

Our captain was the BEST. He was funny and very knowledgeable. I enjoyed my time on his boat. It was a great value and I saw many beautiful sights. He knew were to find all the wildlife without disturbing them. I would recommend this to anyone.

Whale watching takes persistence. The captain knows this well and patiently gave us a great experience. Coming back to the harbor he found the best viewing and gave us an extra hour of his time for us to enjoy a great experience. Also, the trip was very inexpensive.
