We love taking Ducky Tours which the Seal tour is similar to. We had a great time and learned so much we didn't know about the San Diego area! Much of it was military related so if you have that interest, this is a tour for you. It was a little chilly so bring a sweater or something warm. Most... More

Bring a sweater or jacket...it gets cool even on a warm day. He had blankets on the boat though which was a nice touch. The part by land was just okay since you go past some commercial areas to get to the water, but the tour guide really kept us engaged. He was excellent with the history and background information.... We have done this tour several times and there are new and exciting things to see each time. We always take our out of town friends and family when they come to visit. We took our twins when they were 18mts and they were less then trilled about it but at 3yo they LOVED it. So I would recommend not... More

I took both a trolley and a Seal tour in January. Both were great, but the Seal Tour was a way to see San Diego Bay from the land and water. We were able to get up close and personal with a colony of sea lions, who posed for photos! Great staff, and funny informative commentary by guides.

I'd really been looking forward to this trip - I love Duck tours and take them in any city that has them. San Diego has so much to offer, and while the water portion was great, what about the city tour? It consisted of driving to and from the water entrance point. Not at all what I hoped for. If... It was 15 minutes of land and an hour spent on the water. So cool to get up close to the sea lions and a great way to enjoy bay. You also got to see a lot of birds close up. You can save $15 if you buy this tour and the Trolley tour.

This was the first attraction we hit upon arriving in San Diego. You don't really get much of an overview of the city. This is mostly a limited harbor tour. You see alot of the navy base. You get up close with the sea lions. We bought the combination ticket with the hop on hop off trolley. I would have... More

Was an awesome time. Our captain and guide were amazing. My husband and I had such a great time. Saw the seals and I sang with a nice young man to some of the songs. Would definetly do it again. Only in San Diego for the weekend and would love to stay for a week. We also went on the... More

So much fun to get out in the bay to visit the seals as they lay out in the sun. Riding in the "duck" is a fun experience first touring part of the city then driving down the boat ramp into the water and motoring out to the seal's hangout without changing vehicles.
