Great fun for the family. We have a family of four. The 16 year old had a blast taking selfies and snap chats of all the scenery. The 4 year old had fun looking at the seals and boats. I loved the tour guard because he was informational and had a sense of humor. Tips: Make sure to still wear... More

This tour was a lot of fun, and a great way to see San Diego from land and from the water! The tour guide was personable and kept it interesting, and the route allowed us to see a lot of sights in a short amount of time. I had sprained my ankle just prior to my visit and was worried... More

I've always wanted to take a DUCK tour, but never had the chance. The SEAL is not a DUCK, which is a military vehicle, but it's purpose-built for this type of tour. It's very comfortable and makes both land and water touring fun. It doesn't matter what side you sit on - the route overlaps itself so both sides get... More

We spent the day in San Diego and stumbled upon this tour. I wasn't sure if the price was worth the tour. I can say without a doubt, yes it is worth it! Best money I spent in San Diego that day. My two teenagers, which are fairly hard to please, both liked it. I know this because they posted... More

I have always seen these tours, but have never taken one. This time we thought it would be a good way to see some sights. The guides were great. The tour was about 90 minutes long with a ride in the bay to get close and personal with the seals. It is well worth the time and money.

The tour is about 30 minutes on land and an hour on sea. We got a lot of interesting history and really enjoyed seeing the sea lions. We got the package with the Hop on Trolley and that made the price more reasonable. Both are a great way to see San Diego

Real fun few hours and get to see the seals and sea lions in the bay when they go into the water and you get close to the submarine base and naval bases and see some good military hardware - like F 18s taking off from the bases.

This tour was very entertaining. It didn't last a long time which can be nice if there is a lot of stuff you'd like to see. The tour guide was very amusing and had a lot of information about the area. Overall a good tour to take if you'd like to see some seals and possibly some dolphins.

Take the trolley tour and skip the seal tour. They show pretty much the same things except with the seal tour you go in the water and see the animals. Seal tour would be great for families with kids.

What a treat, even our cynical 13 year old could not hide how much fun he was having. (I did not tell him the bus was also a boat...so he was shocked when we went in to the water). Capt Charlie and First Mate were great guides, giving us a lot of information without getting boring. A great way to... More
