Nice walk

Great view of beach and ocean. A little crowded in places which made a bike ride a bit tricky at times

Love, love, love Mission Beach. This is my second trip down from Oregon during spring break. Love the long walk and interesting homes but the people watching is not to be missed. There is something for everyone and it all seems to be represented here. The spring break mating ritual is a hoot.

It's like Maui meets jersey shore California style. Loved it. We won tickets to stay at mission beach resort and tix to sea world. Loved the beach so much didn't go to sea world, not to mention my wife is against it. Can't wait to go back, this will be an annual trip for our anniversary. No complaints. The beach... More

The beach is good for surfing, skate boarding, biking, the sidewalk is big, but because of the great number of tourists walking slow, it must be a hard time. The beach for its own it's not so interesting. There are good places to eat, cheap, tasty and big ice creams too.

The walk is long but the trip is worth it. The beach is world class and wasn't even crowded. We were told to eat at "The world famous fish and chips". Thanks to a very nice local lady and she was right. $11.00 for three pieces of cod and lots of chips. What more could you ask for. Then the... More

Very picturesque. Reminds me of Venice beach. However most of the length of the walk is with vacation homes on one side, which are kind of interesting to look at but I kind of wish there were some shops or other things to add a little more variety. Also, like everywhere else in SD, there are limitations on dogs -... More

We have stayed here for the last 2 weeks and we leave tomorrow. This is the thing I will remember and miss the most about our trip to SD. Our house is right on the beach so I saw a lot of this. You see all sorts of people riding all sorts of contraptions in all sorts of ways. It's... More

Not the best boardwalk i've been too but it was OK. The beach made the place. I was there during the night, most places were open but the young crowd was a little rowdy for me. Too many kids acting like idiots. The restaraunts loved our business for beers and what not. We might return.

Hit the boardwalk and walked about a mile and back. Tons of traffic - bikers, skateboarders, roller skaters, and more. If your in their way they go around you but its tight. There is a speed limit of 8MPH but many bikers go faster than that. Be careful as you walk and stay to your right. The sand can be... More

love this beach, we rented Bikes for the whole family, had a fun time riding the boardwalk seeing the sights, stopped for a meal, watched the sunset from our table, perfect day at the beach, pure love for this place.
