I can't decide what I enjoyed more, the whale/dolphin watching or zooming along on a retired Navy Seal Rigid Inflatable Boat. Had a great time! Highly recommended.

Great trip. Clint was an awesome guide. We saw 3 whales and a pod of about 200 common dolphins swimming with and around the boat. Only 6 people per boat so very personal.

I liked the idea of a small , fast boat that could get to a sighting fast ,plus cover a lot of water. Problem : I called and left a message several weeks back and received no call back. The day before we left for San Diego I called and sent an E Mail still no response. There can be... More

This was our 3rd time going out and it has been a blast every time. And the first time out we didn't even see any whales. We did however see a ton of dolphins. The last 2 times we have seen several whales and it is a real treat to see them from so low in the water. The boats... More

My fiance and I had an amazing time on the Adventure Rib Rides on Sunday, December 28th. Rather than be stuck on a large boat with a ton of people, we opted for a slightly more expensive tour that was limited to 6 people and the captain. What a great choice we made! The boat isn't crowded; you're free to... More

Booked this adventure after reading TA reviews. Reviews were all 100% accurate. Clint was our Captain and guide, he did a remarkable job, not only taking us to whales but providing great useful infor, action about migrating whales. The trip was very successful, we saw over a dozen gray whales, even saw one breech which was fantastic to witness. Boat is... More

clint is not only personable, but very knowledgable of sea life and San Diego. This is the adventurous way to whale watch! True Navy RIB only sits 6, and you can look at it as "uncomfortable" (glass half empty) or as an adventure(my preference, glass half full!) but either way, it moves quicker than any other whale watching boat and... We had such a great time with Captain John. We saw 3 grey whales and then we got to see a pod of over 200 dolphins! It was an incredible experience! Small boat is perfect if you really want to get an up close and personnal with the wildlife. Capt. John answered all our questions. Well worth the price, we... More

This 7 passenger (6 guests & the captain) "rigid inflatable boat" had a past life with the Navy Seals and provides a unique/best way to whale & dolphin watch. Not built for comfort, the excitement of seeing a fin whale, a humpback whale breaching & fin slapping numerous times, sea lions and a huge pod of dolphins more than compensated... More

It was a great experience! Wish we had been in San Diego longer, we would have booked another tour. The knowledge and professionalism of our Captain as well as the forethought to our tour were very much appreciated. Being in a R.I.B is the only way in my opinion to experience seeing the majestic whales and playful dolphins that we... More
