“Building is fine, museum is smallish and you may want to skip paying to see it”

I am really rating the building here, not the contents of the museum, which are not copious. This museum's building was constructed in the late 1920s on the site at which Junipero Serra estabished the Mission San Diego de Alcala, the first mission in Alta California (modern day U.S. California, as opposed to Baja California). “Nice building, tiny musseum”

It is a beautiful building with nice park around it, but the museum is very small with very little to see. The museum visit took all but 10 minutes including the climb to the top for a view. Worth a visit to the grounds, but I'd save my money on the admission ticket for the museum. More
