It's a great chance to see the beautiful Coronado Island, bay and San Diego skyline. If you are visiting Coronado, be sure to drive the 25 mph limit as soon as you cross the bridge or be ready for a ticket.

Connecting downtown San Diego with Coronado Island, this bridge, now toll free, has great views and is worth a trip over if you are driving. Traffic can get bad at times, so plan your trip over if you can.

I'm assuming most people have been on a bridge before. This is about 1.5 miles and connects the mainland to the island of Coronado. Not that impressive when considering the Gold Gate, Mackinac, Brooklyn or Verrazano- Narrows. Sure - it's pretty to look out an see the harbor - not for pedestrians - there's no stopping. Is this really an... More

Excellent adventure...even for those who don't like heights this view is epic! The sunset from the top of the bridge (if you can time it right) the design allows for full 360 sightseeing. The only way to get in and out of Coronado unless your in a ship. Super times can be had on each side of the bridge...the quaintness... More

This is a toll free bridge that connect Coronado Island to San Diego. The view is beautiful at sunset. Strange that this is really rated at all on trip advisor. If you want to see something different for a bridge go to Savannah,Ga or Charleston,SC

From here you can see the city of San Diego and the island of Coronado. It is well worth the trip - especially near sunset as the views of the sunset reflecting off the buildings is beautiful. You can't walk on the bridge but even driving over it is nice.

It's just a big bridge really, which doesn't look very impressive compared to some other major bridges around the world. I'm surprised you can even review it to be honest. I'm giving it 3 stars because I caught a bus over and thought "yeah this is a nice view of San Diego" but then soon forgot about it.

We viewed the bridge from the cruise we took up and down the waters. Spectacular views all around. The bridge is quite a structure in itself. It adds to the scenic surroundings not distracts.

its a bridge that has one of the best views in all of san diego. you may want to have a few people that can drive and take turns and you want to look to the north going west and look to the south going east, but remember not to be looking if you are driving.

The best part of the Coronado bridge is that it's the gateway to Coronado Island. I'm sure the view is fantastic but not while behind the wheel. And you are only minutes from Coronado Beach!
