Take the Coronado Bridge from San Diego accross the bay over to Coronado, which isn't really an Island, but a peninsula down to Imperial Beach. The bridge used to have toll booths, but has been paid for so it is free and open. Take your car, cross the bridge and spend some time walking around Coronado which is a fun... More

A really nice view from a really cool bridge. Takes you from the Industrial side to the Ocean beach area in minutes.

It's beautiful, day or night. The drive over the bridge is delightful seeing San Diego or going to Coronado Island. Smooth with an excellent view.

A great look at the ships below and a nice way to get your barrings and see what's around you. I especially enjoyed this area of San Diego (Coronado Island). The many shops, eatery on the Ocean and beautiful homes.

Drove across from San Diego to Coronado - views from the bridge were fantastic. Clear day and we could see for miles. Great view of downtown San Diego! Drove around Coronado and enjoyed the sights.

It was joyful to drive over the bridge, we liked to watch the scenery from up above, the beach after the bridge was nice, the kids played there

Took a ride past Petco Park and across the Coronado Bridge. It was a pleasant drive but nothing special. Not in the class of the Golden Gate Bridge, Bay Bridge or several others. Nice views of the harbor. Might be more fun if we were in the mood to race but we were simply enjoying a leisurely drive It was... More

It's a bridge. You can go from San Diego to the island city of Coronado and back. However, it does have nice views of downtown SD, the island, the bay/harbor, and the Pacific Ocean. Just don't get too distracted as a driver. It is narrow, with two lanes in each direction and hardly a shoulder in the middle. The 50... More

The lane change to get on the bridge from the 5 comes up quick, so you have to be ready to get over quick. In heavy traffic, it can be a challenge. The drive on the bridge is a little intimidating with other drivers speeding and zipping back and forth between lanes. My family enjoys the view, especially at night... More
