As a driver it's not much fun when you got to keep your focus on the road. The bridge is curved which is interesting. Great view of San Diego from the other side. The island is a MUST. 2nd best views overall (up on Point Loma are better of the whole area), but the best of the Harbor, skyline, and South Bay. Wife has a fear of heights, so I finally had to move into the center lane before she murdered me, but it's still an astounding view. More

Make sure to take a trip across this bridge to get some amazing views of Coronado, downtown, San Diego Bay, and Point Loma. It is free to cross and there is a convenient u-turn lane when you reach the island if you want to turn around right away and not even bother with the island. More

It's beautiful to look out and see all of that water. The ride to Coronado Island was exelerating and although windy it was still fun. Walked the beach and the water is frigid and the waves splashed by grandson in the face and he said it was salty. More

Great Views but it's hard to enjoy if you're driving (there's no place to pull off on the side of the bridge and enjoy the vista). Make sure you drive across as a passenger (and have the driver drive slow). More
