We were in San Diego for a convention downtown. It was a zoo. The Coronado Bridge is so close we decided to head over for lunch one day. Adorable town. Almost as if lost in time. Great restaurants and amazing views of the ocean. Great place to spend the day or part of the day to relax and step back... More

This is the one mile, flying over San Diego experience. I-5 off the south end of San Diego downtown, and follow the signs to Coronado. NOTICE radar cops at base of bridge speed is 25 MPH and they mean it.!!!!!

I hate bridges. But the view both directions from this one was so amazing that I really didn't mind crossing it. I just wish the weather had been clear, we could have seen more!

I had been under the Coronado bridge on the Hornblower cruise but had always wanted to drive over it. It's a beautiful bridge and Coronado Island was a treat. Hotel Del Coronado is beautiful with many tributes to The Wizard of Oz. inside. Getting over the bridge was easy but coming back we got turned around and headed in the... More

No matter how many times I saw this bridge, I was awed by it every time. It's 248 feet high and the traffic is controlled into and out of the city of Coronado by creating a 3rd lane either in bound or out bound based upon traffic needs. It's also the bridge to a beautiful city that has small town... More

We did a tour and the trolley went over the bridge. It was very pretty. It is greatly designed. It hooks the lower part of San Diego to Coronado

Was fun to drive over, with good views. Thought it was a toll-bridge, but when we went there was no toll charged (perhaps time-dependent).
