Incredible View from Above!

We crossed the Coronado Bridge on the Old Town Trolley. It was a great view...thrilling. Nicer yet, I wasn't driving and could enjoy the incredible view!

This bridge moves quickly and is a very easy route to Coronado from mainland San Diego. Ships pass under the bridge and the view as you travel is beautiful.

Even if you don't plan to go to Coronado, I'd recommend driving over the Coronado bridge just for the beautiful views of the bay and downtown San Diego. Really cool.

We took the Old Town Trolley over the bridge. On the way there, the views were great. On the way back it was raining fairly hard so pretty much no views. I would have loved to drive over it myself, but we were packing a lot into our time in San Diego and we didn't get back over to Coronado.

This structure is unbelievable. If you have problems with height then keep your eyes closed while going across the bridge if you are not driving. I was told that the bridge was made this tall so navy ships could pass through in an emergency without the bridge having to open. I made it across with much encouragement from my girls... More

I have no idea where the Coronado Bridge is on trip advisor. It's a bridge to get from San Diego to Coronado Island. Once or twice a year you can ride your bike over it or run over it. It's very beautiful in pictures, most of them taken from the working-class neighborhoods on the San Diego side of Coronado in... More

If you are in San Diego, you have to take a drive across the Coronado Bridge. It's beautiful. And, after you cross over to the island, you must take a quick walk around the historical Hotel Del Coronado. Great for a leisurely Sunday afternoon.

We passed this bridge when going south on our sightseeing tour that reached the Navy seals 'training ground'. Impressive bridge and so packed in the rush hour. Best viewed and admired from the sea.

As you drive over the bridge to Coronado you see beautiful views of the San diego skyline. Makes for a nice day trip.
