My family loves going here. You get an awesome view of the harbor and city. We were lucky enough to see the Ronald Regan leaving port right below us as we stood on the point. The Cabrillo National Monument is worth the $5.oo park fee. The visitor's center was not very interesting. They do show a few 25 minute films throughout the day. We went to Cabrillo National Monument at Point Loma upon recommendation from a friend and were not disappointed. The monument itself is semi-interesting (in my opinion), but the views are beautiful! I went to the Cabrillo Naitonal Monument with the intention of being there a short time...I found myself blown away by how beautiful this park is. I would absolutely go back...and hope to again before I leave San Diego. more
